WARNING!
Do not use staples and nails other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
Rows of more than 50 staples or staples longer than 140mm do not flt in the staple nail gun.
Do not insert nails of different sizes in the magazine at the same time, which may lead to a mistake or failure in nailing, as well as a jamming of the nails.

The tacker should be used only for the intended purposes. It is designed for use on wood or similar materials in indoor environment.

  • Turn off the power switch and unplug the tacker
  • Hold the tool upside down, squeeze the latches on the end of the magazine to unlock the movable clip, pull the movable magazine out of the tool completely.KeLDE-KL-ESG-762-US-Electric-Staple-Nail-Gun-Kit-FIG- \(3\)
  • Insert a row of staples or nails legs facing upward into the opening behind the nose piece. Ensure brad strip stays upright in magazine.

  • Push the movable magazine back into the unit until it clips into place.

FIRING A STAPLE OR NAIL

  • Plug stapler into a 120V, 60Hz power outlet. Turn the power switch to “ON”.
  • In order to fire the staple, depress the safety striker pin of the staple gun down till the nose piece contact tight with surface of the workpiece firmly, and the push the trigger. For each shot, the nose piece should be raised and the safety striker pin reactivated.
  • NOTE: During operation, it is normal that the tool becomes warm, but if the tool starts to become hot, use shall be discontinued until it cools down.
  • Unplug tacker, turn power switch to “OFF” after use.

JAMMED STAPLE NAIL GUN

  • DO NOT re-fire the tool in order to clear the jam as this may damage the tool.
  • Turn off the power switch and unplug the tacker.
  • Hold tool upside down, squeeze the magazine latches on either side of the tool and pull the magazine out of the tool, sing a pair of pliers, remove any jammed staples or nails. Be careful not to bend the end of the magazine, which will lead the unit to be inoperable.

STORAGE

  • Thoroughly clean the whole machine and its accessories.
  • Store it out of the reach of children, in a stable and secure position, in a cool and dry place, avoid too high and too low temperatures.
  • Protect it from exposure to direct sunlight. Keep it in the dark, if possible.
  • Don’t keep it in plastic bags to avoid humidity build-up.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

  • Tool does not flre:
    • Check if cord is plugged into the power outlet properly.
    • Check if the switch is in “ON” position.
  • Tool does not drive fasteners flush with the surface:
    • Ensure the knob is set to High power setting for driving into hard substances.
    • Ensure correct wire gauge extension cord is used.
    • Apply adequate pressure on the top of the tool while the trigger is pulled.
    • Try another power outlet on a dedicated circuit.
    • Make sure the power cord is not plugged into a surge protector.

WORK AREA SAFETY

  • Keep the applicatbn area clean and well lit.Cluttered benches and dark areas invite accidents.
  • Do not use power tools in explosive environments, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or vapors. Power tools generate sparks that can ignite the dust or vapors.
  • Keep children and bystanders away when operating the appliance. Distractions can lead to loss of control over the device.

TACKER SAFETY

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge , unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Do not actuate the tool unless the tool is placed firmly against the work piece. If the tool is not in contact with the work piece, the fastener may be deflected away from your target.
  • Disconnect the tool from the power source when the fastener jams in the tool. While removing a jammed fastener, the tracker may be accidentally activated if it is plugged in.
  • Do not use this stapler for fastening electrical cables. It is not designed for electric cable installation and may damage the insulated electric cables there by causing electric shock or fire hazards.
  • Always assume that there are staples in the tool. Careless handling of the stapler can cause unexpected stapling of the staples and cause injury.
  • Never point the tool at yourself or other people in the vicinity. Unexpected removal may release a clip and cause injury.
  • Be very careful when removing a fixed clip. The system may be cocked and the clip ejected vigorously as you try to remove the jam.

ELECTRICAL PROTECTIVE MEASURES

  • The plug of the power tool must be plugged into the socket. Never change the plug in any way. Do not use plug adapters with grounded power tools. Unmodified plugs and sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as piping, radiators, stoves, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
  • Do not expose electrical tools to rain or damp environments/\/ater entering electrical tools increases the risk of electric shock.
  • Do not misuse the cable for any other purpose. Never pull on the cable or use it to unplug or to carry the tool. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
  • When using the power tool outdoors, use an appropriate extension cord. The use of a cable suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
  • If the use of the tool in a humid environment can not be avoided, use a power supply protected by an earth leakage circuit break­er.The use of an RCCB reduces the risk of electric shock.

PERSONAL SAFETY

  • Stay alert, focus on your work and use common sense when using the device. Do not use the device when you are tired or under ­the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of carelessness while operating the power tool can result in serious injury.
  • Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Suitable safety equipment, such as dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, strong headgear, or ear protection used for such circumstances, reduces the personal injury risk.
  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is turned off before connecting to power source, picking up or carrying.
  • Avoid unintentional starting. Make sure the power tool is turned off before plugging in the power and/or inserting, picking up or transferring the battery. If you have your finger on the switch when you are wearing the power tool or if you plug in the power to the unit, it may cause an accident.
  • Remove any adjustment wrench or wrench before starting the electric tool. A tool or key located in a rotating piece of equipment can cause injury.
  • Avoid an abnormal posture. Ensure a secure footing and maintain balance at all times. This ensures better control of the electrical device in unexpected situations.
  • Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothes and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can get caught in the moving parts.

USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ELECTRIC TOOL

  • Do not use the electrical device by force. Use the right electrical tool for your application. With a suitable power tool you work better and safer in the specified power range.
  • Do not use a power tool whose switch is defective. A power tool that can not be turned on or off is dangerous and must be repaired.
  • Disconnect the plug from the mains socket before making device settings, changing accessories or putting the device away.
  • Such precautionary measures reduce the risk of accidental starting of the power tool.
  • Do not allow persons who are unfamiliar with the device or this manual, to use the electrical tool. Electric devices in the hands of laymen are dangerous.

MAINTENANCE

Clean tool by a dry or damp cloth. NEVER use any solvent.
Inspect all screws and tighten if necessary.
DO NOT oil or grease any parts.
Keep the magazine channel clean, and all vents free from dust and dirt.
