CISCO AP700 Indoor AP Bracket and Ceiling Grid Clip
Product Information
The product is a set of mounting brackets and accessories designed for Cisco wireless access points. It includes various brackets and clips to securely mount the access points to different types of ceilings and walls. The product also includes optional adapters for channel rail ceiling grid profiles and Power over Ethernet (PoE) injectors.

Product Usage Instructions
- Select the appropriate bracket depending on the ceiling or wall where you want to mount the access point:
- For low profile mounting, use AIR AP BRACKET 1 (default option).
- For universal mounting, use AIR AP BRACKET 2 (default option).
- For in-ceiling flush mount, use AIR AP BRACKET 3 (optional, ordered as a spare).
- For AP 702i series, use AIR AP BRACKET 7 (default option).
- Select the appropriate ceiling clips depending on your ceiling type:
- For recessed ceiling systems, use AIR AP T RAIL R (default option).
- For flush ceiling systems, use AIR AP T RAIL F (default option).
- For channel rail ceiling grid profiles, use AIR CHNL ADAPTER (optional, ordered separately).
- If not using a bracket or ceiling clip, select the appropriate option to exclude them.
- Refer to the specific access point model to determine the compatible brackets:
- For AP3700, 3600, AP2600, AP1600, AP1040, AP1140, AP1260, and AP3500, use the recommended brackets mentioned in the manual.
- For AP702i series, use AIR AP BRACKET 7.
- Refer to the provided links for detailed mounting and installation instructions for specific access point models.

Choosing Mounting Hardware
- Access point mounting hardware consists of:
- Brackets, which fasten to the bottom of the access point, and
- Ceiling grid clips, which fasten the bracket to a tile ceiling system.
You choose a bracket depending on the ceiling or wall where you want to mount the access point, and you choose ceiling clips depending on your ceiling type.

User Selection – AP Brackets
Affected Platforms: AP3600, AP2600, AP1600, AP1040, AP1140, AP1260, AP3500
- Customers ordering above platforms will be able to select AP bracket through the configuration tool, choices are:
- AIR-AP-BRACKET-1 (Low-Profile)
- AIR-AP-BRACKET-2 (Universal)
- AIR-AP-NO-BRACKET (AP Bracket not required and will not be included)
- Customer can only select one of the above options
- All options are $0 at time of configuration
- If nothing is selected, the default selection is AIR-AP-BRACKET-1 (Low-Profile)
- For the AP3600/3700 it is recommended to select the AIR-APBRACKET- 2 if modules are planned to be deployed.

- Customers ordering above platforms will be able to select AP bracket through the configuration tool, choices are:
- AIR-AP-BRACKET-7 (Universal)
- AIR-AP-NO-BRACKET (AP Bracket not required and will not be included)
- The bracket option is $0 at time of configuration
- If nothing is selected, the default selection is AIR-AP-BRACKET-7

- AIR-AP-NO-CLIP (Ceiling Clip not required and will not be included)
- Customer can only select one of the options above
- All options are $0 at time of configuration
- If nothing is selected, the default selection is AIR-AP-T-RAIL-R
- Optionally, the T-RAIL Channel Adapter (AIR-CHNL-ADAPTER) can be also ordered with the AP through the configuration tool but at an additional charge. By default this is not selected.
