Operating Instructions
This appliance is intended for household use only. Revlon® dryers are designed for safety and performance. This appliance may have a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature. For U.S. residents only: In the event of immersion, the protective device will not allow the appliance to operate. Periodically check the safety plug to verify that it is in proper working order. Simply place the plug into the outlet and press the TEST button. The appliance should immediately stop. To resume operating the appliance, press the RESET button. In the event the TEST button does not work properly, return the appliance to a service center or the manufacturer.
TITANIUM TECHNOLOGY
Titanium technology transfers heat quickly for fast drying and styling. It
helps reduce over-drying, resulting in reduced frizz and enhanced shine.
STYLING TIPS
- Always towel-dry hair to remove excess water.
- Set the dryer at the highest heat and speed setting and circulate the airflow through your hair. DO NOT concentrate airflow on any one area for an extended period of time.
- When hair is almost dry, lower heat and speed to style.
- Push the Cold Shot Button to set the style with cold air once you’ve achieved the desired style.
- Store your Revlon® dryer on its practical Hanging Ring. This will prevent the cord from tangling and wearing prematurely.
SMOOTHING CONCENTRATOR
By concentrating the airflow, individual sections of the hair can be styled.
To attach, simply press the Concentrator into air outlet until it snaps into
place. To remove, allow dryer and attachment to cool, then gently pull it away
from dryer.
VOLUMIZING DIFFUSER
The Volumizing Diffuser will soften the airflow from the hair dryer to give
you voluminous, defined curls. To use, attach the diffuser to the end of the
dryer nozzle. Place a section of your curls into the fingers of the diffuser.
Move the diffuser gently over the scalp while drying. To clean the diffuser,
remove it from the dryer and wash it in warm, soapy water and rinse. Allow
diffuser to dry completely before reattaching it to dryer.
REMOVABLE END CAP
- To remove end cap, make sure unit is unplugged, then grasp sides firmly, squeeze and pull end cap gently away from dryer.
- Dust off the end cap.
- The end cap may be washed but must be dried completely before returning it to the dryer.
- To replace the end cap, align the end cap with the rear of the dryer and push it onto the dryer until it clicks into place.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that may cycle OFF or cause the heaters to turn off if the temperature exceeds comfort level due to partially blocked air inlet or outlet openings. In the event that the appliance stops or releases only cool air during use, turn off the switches and allow the appliance to cool down, at which time the thermostat will automatically reset. During use, DO NOT block the air openings. When using this appliance near water (e.g. bathrooms), the use of an electrical outlet protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter is recommended.
Maintenance
Your appliance is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is needed.
Keep heated surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt, and hair spray. If cleaning
becomes necessary, unplug the appliance from the power source and wipe the
exterior with a damp cloth. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist prior to use.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Dust and lint can be removed from air intake openings with a small brush or
vacuum cleaner brush attachment. DO NOT allow moisture or additional debris to
enter the unit while cleaning.
