Speaker
The Fleetflix Al+ comes with a speaker located on the left panel.
Microphone
The Fleetflix Al+ comes with a microphone located on the bottom panel. The diagram of the microphone is shown below.
External 1/0 Pin Descriptions and Functionality
The Fleetflix Al+ Dash Cam features several interfaces including a Micro USB 2.0 port (debugging), Micro SD card slot, Micro SIM card slot and 12-pin power connector.
Micro USB 2.0 Port
The Fleetflix Al+ is equipped with one Micro USB 2.0 port located on the right
panel for debugging. The pinouts of the Micro USB 2.0 port are shown
below.
Micro SD Ca rd Slot
The Fleetflix Al+ comes with a Micro SD card slot located on the right
panel with support for a maximum storage capacity of 512GB. The pinouts of the
Micro SD card slot
are shown below.
Micro SIM Card Slot
The Fleetflix Al+ comes with a Micro SIM card slot located on the right
panel that can support a 4G SIM card. The pinouts of the Micro SIM card slot
are show below.
12-Pin Power Connector
The Fleetflix Al+ comes with a 12-pin power connector. The 12-pin power
connector is used for supplying power to the Fleetflix Al+. The pinouts of the
12-pin power connector are shown below.
LED Status
The Fleetflix Al+ comes with a three LED indicators located on the rear panel
to show the status. The three LED indicators states are shown in the diagram
below.

Alert Button
The Fleetflix Al+ comes with a short record / two-way call button located
on the rear panel which will record a 20 second video from both cameras (10
seconds before and 20 seconds after) as well as snapshots from each camera at
the time the button is pushed with a short press. It will also create an alert
message when pressed for more than 3 seconds. The diagram of the short record
/ two-way call button is shown below.

Installation
This chapter provides information about the Fleetflix Al+ installation procedures.
Removing the Right Panel 1/0 Cover
- Loosen the screw of the right panel 1/0 cover with the included alien wrench.
- Remove the right panel 1/0 cover.
Installing the Micro SD Card
The Fleetflix Al+ dash cam supports automatic video recording to a Micro SD
card after startup. To use this feature, you need to insert a Micro SD card
into the Micro SD card slot on the Fleetflix Al+.
- Locate the Micro SD card slot.
- Insert a Micro SIM card into the Micro SIM card slot. Use your fingernail to press the card into the slot. When it is fully inserted, the card will snap into the slot.
Installing the 4G Micro SIM Card
The Fleetflix Al+ dash cam can download maps through a 4G network. To use this
feature you need to insert a 4G Micro SIM card into the Micro SIM card slot on
the Fleetflix Al+.
- Locate the Micro SIM card slot.
- Insert a 4G Micro SIM card into the Micro SIM card slot. Use your fingernail to press the card into the slot. When it is fully inserted, the card will snap into the slot.
Installing the Cables
Using the OBD II Power Cable
- Reference the vehicle’s user manual to find the location of the fuse box and OBD II connector. Then check the ACC fuse specification on the fuse box cover.
- Pull out the ACC fuse
- Select the appropriate Blade Fuse Holder cable. Plug in the ACC fuse that was removed from the fuse box into the Blade Fuse Holder cable, and then plug in the other ACC fuse that we provided.
- Plug in the Blade Fuse Holder cable into the ACC fuse slot in the fuse box.
- Remove the right panel 1/0 cover. For details, refer to section 3.1.
- Feed the 12-pin connector of the 0BD II Power Cable through the hole on the right panel 1/0 cover.

- Reinstall the right panel 1/0 cover. Make sure to tighten the screw.
- Connect the other end of the OBD II Power Cable to the Blade Fuse Holder cable as shown in the diagram below.
- Plug in the OBD II Power Cable to the OBD II connector in the vehicle.

Mounting
- Attach the suction cup or the adhesive tape mounting bracket onto the Fleetflix Al+.
- Find a suitable place to install the Fleetflix Al+ onto the wind shield. Use alcohol to clean the glass before mounting the device. {It is recommended to install the device in the center of the windshield below the review mirror.)
After installing the camera, the following measurements are needed
- Hood length the distance from the front lens of the camera and the front bumper
- Vehicle width the total width of the vehicle at its widest point in front of the camera (typically wheel arch to wheel arch)
- Camera height – the distance from the ground to the bottom of the camera
- Driver position which side of the vehicle the steering wheel is on, (left hand is typical for American market vehicles)
After complete install (including adding these values to the configuration)
there is a calibration step, where the vehicle should be driven on a road.
The road parameters are:
- Not too sloped
- Not too twisty
- Reasonable weather
- Not too busy
- Good contrast for lane markers
- Capable of supporting 30+mph for a minute or so
Measurement Guide for Camera Calibration

Measure the height from the camera mount to the ground.
