Product Installation

Installation Methods:

  • Horizontal installation on the control panel
  • Windshield installation

Note: The silicone suction cup cannot be reused. Please confirm the installation position before installation.

Installation Steps:

  1. Remove the suction cup and nut from the back of the product. Insert the nut into the end of the bracket, attach the bracket to the back of the suction cup, and tighten the screw.
  2. Peel off the paper on the pad and stick it to the desired location.
  3. Peel off the paper on the pad and stick it to the desired location.
  4. Remove the tape from the bracket suction cup, install the bracket on the silicone pad, and lock the buckle.
  • Adjust the angle and distance to position the screen appropriately.
  • Install the power cord to complete the installation.

Installation Adjustments:
After installation, you can adjust the screen’s angle or height as needed.

  • Angle Adjustment : The bracket’s end is designed as a ball joint, so you can adjust the screen’s angle as required.
  • Height Adjustment: You can adjust the knob to change the screen’s height.
  • Distance Adjustment : You can also adjust the knob to change the distance between the screen and the seat.

Main Interface Introduction

  1. CarPlay: Wireless CarPlay feature

  3. Bluetooth: Device Bluetooth information management
  4. Brightness Settings: Supports day and night brightness settings and CarPlay timed night view settings
  5. Settings: Functions for setting the display screen

  7. FM Transmitter: Transmit sound to the car radio via FM at the same frequency
  8. Pure Display Bluetooth Mode: The device only displays content, sound is retained on the phone, the phone can connect to external Bluetooth for sound playback. When turned off, the machine speaker plays the sound.

Reverse Camera Connection
Our CarPlay screen supports a reverse camera function. The diagram below shows the wiring method for the reverse camera:

Wireless CarPlay Connection

  1. Step 1: Turn on your phone’s “Wi-Fi”.
  2. Step 2: Turn on Bluetooth simultaneously.
  3. Step 3: Search for the product’s Bluetooth connection. The Bluetooth name of the product should be “PND_XXXX”.
  4. Step 4: Pair the Bluetooth.
  5. Step 5: Allow CarPlay onboard.
  6. Step 6: Start using CarPlay.

Common Issues:

Can’t connect to Wireless CarPlay?

  • If your phone’s Bluetooth can connect, it means Wi-Fi is occupied. First, check if the phone’s Wi-Fi is connected to another feature; you need to free the Wi-Fi channel. Try deleting the device record and reconnecting:
    • Phone-Settings-General-CarPlay onboard-carpodgo-Forget this car.
    • Phone-Bluetooth-PND_XXXX-Forget this device.
    • Restart the phone.
    • Reconnect the phone to Bluetooth PND_XXXX.

Wireless Android Auto Connection

  1. Step 1: Turn on your phone’s “Wi-Fi” function.
  2. Step 2: At the same time, tum on Bluetooth and check the list of already connected devices.
  3. Step 3: Search for the product’s Bluetooth connection. The product’s Bluetooth name should be “PND_XXXX”.
  4. Step 4: Pair with the Bluetooth.
  5. Step 5: Start using the Android Auto feature.

FM Transmitter Mode

  • On the main interface, click the “FM Transmitter” icon.
  • Turn on the car radio feature.
  • Set the screen’s frequency to match the original car radio frequency.
  • If there is noise interference or the sound is unclear, change to a new radio channel to ensure good sound quality.

AUX Line Transmission Mode
Connect the product to the vehicle using an AUX cable and set the car audio to AUX mode. With AUX transmission, the sound for CarPlay / Android Auto functions will operate normally.

Settings Feature Introduction

  • System: System function settings.
  • Bluetooth: Device Bluetooth information management.
  • Display: Settings for boot logo, CarPlay home icon, brightness, CarPlay timed night view, right peptide, 60fps CarPlay high refresh mode.
  • Sound: Control the device speaker, FM transmitter, AUX output in three ways for maps, media volume levels.
  • Brightness Settings: Same as earlier.

Pure display Bluetooth mode

  • When turned on : The device only displays content, sound remains on the phone, the phone can also connect to the car’s Bluetooth for sound playback. 2) When turned off: The machine’s speaker plays the sound.
  • When an audio cable is plugged into the device’s AUX port, pure display mode is turned off by default; it needs to be reactivated after unplugging the AUX audio cable.

System Update Steps

  • Format a USB drive (up to 32G) in FAT32 format.
  • Copy the update software to the root directory of the USB drive and insert it into the screen’s USB port.
  • Click Settings-About-Update Retrieval; if a new version is detected, it will update automatically.
  • The screen will display a progress bar, and once updated successfully, check the version number change.

Note: If issues arise during the update, such as rebooting or crashing, it indicates a mismatch between the USB file or driver. It’s suggested to switch to a memory card + card reader and
