GARDEN GUARD 376
MANUAL
This is a solar driven ultrasonic animal repelling device with optional
flashing LED. Given sufficient sunlight, the built-in solar panel will charge
the NiMH rechargeable batteries, and give sufficient power for the unit
without the need of replacing batteries.
Sens. knob
This adjustable knob has 7 set points for sensitivity. The detection distance
is related to the size of animal: the bigger the animal is, the further it can
be detected by the sensor. The higher the number, the further the detection
distance is. If you want to repel small sized animals, the Sens. knob shall
be set to position 7 (max detection distance is 10m).
Freq. knob
This frequency knob has 7 adjustable set points.
OFF: not sending out ultrasonic waves and LED is off.
L: 15 kHz -24 kHz, for repelling big sized animals.
M: 25 kHz -50 kHz, for repelling medium sized animals.
H: 30 kHz – 60 kHz, for repelling small sized animals.
L+,M+ ,H+: extra strobe of flashing LED will be turned on to repel animals
that are afraid of strong flashing lights.
Power: DC 4.5V, 3x AA NiMH rechargeable batteries (built-in solar panel:
5V40MA).
USB charging: 5V, USB port, charging current: < 50 mA LED: In regular working
condition, LED will flash blue.
When voltage is below 3V, LED will flash red, which indicates that you need to
charge the batteries or replace them for new batteries.
During charging with USB cable, LED will flash blue.
Sense of angle: approximately 80 degree.
