Operation:
The remote control is used for manual operation and setting of the Sensa PRO presence detectors.

Button Functions:

  • Memo Button: Used for saving and duplicating settings.
  • Button with LED Indicator: Used for various operations, including setting light sensor value, set on period, pulse mode, etc.

Saving and Duplicating Settings:

  1. For a presence detector, set the light sensor value (LUX), set on period (TIME), duration in standby mode (STBY), and dimming level in standby mode (STBY%) using the remote control.
  2. Press and hold the MEMO button for 3 seconds. The set values of the presence detector will be transferred and stored on the remote control. The LED will light up.
  3. Point the remote control at a new presence detector.
  4. Press the MEMO button. The stored settings will be transferred to the new presence detector.

Setting the Light Sensor Value:

  1. Press and hold the button until the LED indicator lights up, indicating that the presence detector is in training mode.
  2. The current light sensor value from which the connected lighting device is switched on can now be set.

Setting the Set On Period (TIME):

  1. Press the button to unlock the remote control.
  2. Press the TIME button with the required value to set the set on period.

Pulse Mode:
In pulse mode, triggering the presence detector switches on Lighting device I (CH1) for 1 second, controlled by the light sensor value (LUX).

The remote control is used for manual operation and setting of the Sensa PRO presence detectors.

Adjusting and Setting

Operation

  • Each press of the button sends the corresponding signal for max. 1 second. No signal is sent if several buttons are pressed at the same time.
  • All settings for Channel 2 (CH2) are invalid if there is only one lighting device.
  • The presence detector switches to the locked condition:
    • automatically 5 minutes after the last button press,
    • by pressing the button.

Button functions
Switching on the lighting device for 8 hours (CH1)

  • Press the ON button.
    The lighting device switches on for 8 hours.

  • The presence detector reverts to automatic mode:

    • automatically after 8 hours,
    • by pressing the ON button again,
    • by switching off the presence detector for 5 seconds and on again using an external button.

  • Press the OFF button.
    The lighting device switches off for 8 hours:

  • The presence detector reverts to automatic mode:

    •  automatically after 8 hours,
    • by pressing the OFF button again,
    • by switching off the presence detector for 5 seconds and on again using an external button.

Locking the buttons

  • Press the button.
    The buttons of the remote control are locked.

  • The following buttons are not locked: , ON, OFF, A/M, DIM and .

  • The presence detector switches to the locked condition:

    • automatically 5 minutes after the last button press,
    • by pressing the button.

Unlocking the buttons

  • Press the button.
    The buttons of the remote control are unlocked. The remote control can be used for setting the presence detector.

Switching between automatic mode/semi-automatic mode

  • Press the A/M button.
    The presence detector switches to automatic mode.

  • Press the A/M button 2 times.
    The presence detector switches to semi-automatic mode.
    The LED lights for 2 seconds.

  • In semi-automatic mode, the lighting device can only be switched on or off manually by an external switch. The lighting device remains switched on for as long as constant motion is detected.

  • When no further motion is detected and the delay has expired, the presence detector turns the lighting device OFF.

Reset (resets presence detector to factory settings)

  • Press the RESET button.
    The presence detector is reset to the factory settings.
    All stored data are deleted.

Saving and duplicating settings

  • For a presence detector, set the light sensor value (LUX), the set on period (TIME), the duration in standby mode (STBY) and the dimming level in standby mode (STBY%) using the remote control.

  • Press the MEMO button for 3 seconds.
    The set values of the presence detector are transferred and stored on the remote control.
    The LED lights.

  • Point at a new presence detector with the remote control.

  • Press the MEMO button.
    The stored settings are transferred to the new presence detector.
    The data are deleted by removing the battery or pressing the RESET button.

Setting the light sensor value (LUX) (10 – 2000 Lux)

  •  Press the LUX button with the required value.
    The light sensor value for the presence detector from which the connected lighting device is switched on is set.

  • The light sensor value is only valid for Lighting device I (CH1).

Saving the current light sensor value

  1. Press the button until the LED lights and indicates that the presence detector is in training mode.
    The current light sensor value from which the connected lighting device is switched on is stored.
    NOTE: The saving of the light sensor value takes approx. 10 seconds.

  2. After completing the training process, the lighting device and the LED switch ON for 5 seconds.

  3.  The presence detector reverts to automatic mode.

  4. The light sensor value is only valid for Lighting device I (CH1).

Setting the set on period (TIME)

  1. Press the button to unlock the remote control.
  2.  Press the TIME button with the required value.
    The set on period is set.

Pulse mode
Lighting device I (CH1)

  1. Press the button.
    The presence detector switches to pulse mode.
    Triggering the presence detector switches on Lighting device I (CH1) for 1 second. The presence detector is controlled by the light sensor value (LUX).

Test mode

  1. Press the TEST button.
    The presence detector switches to test mode.

  2. The LED of the presence detector serves as an indicator for the receipt of an infrared signal by the remote control.
    In walking test mode, it is possible to check that the range of the presence detector extends as far as required.
    The LED serves as a display. No lighting device must be connected. Once motion is detected, the LED and Lighting device I (CH1) switch ON for approx. 2 seconds.
