Safety advice

To prevent damage of the device and injuries of the operator, it is absolutely necessary to comply with the safety notes in this manual.

The mentioned warnings describe possible injuries and damages, which are due to wrong usage or maintenance of the device.

Please read and follow these safety notes before reading the manual.

Cleaning the rollers:

  1. ) Switch on the unit as described.
  2. ) Fold an A4 sheet of paper and insert it into the entrance with the folded side first. Repeat this process until no more glue clings to the paper.

Cleaning the machine:

  1. Always make sure to disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning. Allow the laminator to cool down before cleaning.
  2. When the machine has cooled down, use a soft cloth to clean the machine.

Please note:

  1. ) Always switch off the machine after use. Never use the laminator for more than one hour. Wait 15 seconds between each lamination. Allow the machine to cool down for at least 30 minutes after switching off before putting it away.

  2. ) Protect the machine from moisture. Make sure that the laminator is dry before use. Do not place the appliance near an air conditioner.

  3. ) Never insert any objects or materials other than the appropriate laminating pouches. Documents that are too thin (e.g. fax paper that is thinner than 30mic) or
materials that are too soft cannot be fed into the machine because they will twist and jam the rollers.

  4. ) Never cover the machine with tissues, magazines etc. during operation.

  5. ) Laminate in rooms with a normal temperature (from 10-35°C).

  1. ) Insert the power plug into an electrical socket.
  2. ) Press the switch (4). A red indicator (2) will light up and the motor starts.
  3. ) Wait 4-8 minutes for the machine to warm up. Once the operating temperature is reached, a green lamp (3) lights up.
  4. ) Place the item to be laminated into a laminating film, and make sure that the document has a margin of of 3-5 mm to the edge of the pouch.
  5. ) Now insert them together into entrance (1) of the laminator closed side first. The laminating process starts automatically.

Note

  1. ) In order to avoid damage to the unit and the pouch, make sure that you always insert the laminating pouch with the closed side first. This prevents a jam from
    occurring.

  2. ) Certain types of paper my not be sealed evenly or appear cloudy after lamination. In this case, re-insert the pouch into the laminator for a better effect.

  3. ) When you are not laminating, switch off the machine.

  4. ) The laminating pouch is very hot and unstable when it slides out of the exit. Please watch your hands and avoid pulling out the lamination prematurely, otherwise
