PLAUD NOTE Set Up
To customize your recording preferences, we have developed the PLAUD App that can control the device in Bluetooth range, and you can access and manage the recorded files through the PLAUD App
Search for PLAUD in the App Store or Google Play
Registration and Sign in
Please register and sign into the PLAUD App. Then bind the device through
Bluetooth. Then you can customize the settings through the PLAUD App.
Start Recording
To start recording on PLAUD NOTE, simply press and hold the button for 1
second and wait for the 1 quick vibration. You will also see the red light on
for recording status.
Stop Recording
During recording, press the button for 1 second again and wait for the 2 quick
vibrations, and it will stop recording. The red light will be off.
Check Battery Situation
The light indicates the battery situation:
- Green Light ON: Battery = 100% (While charging)
- White Light ON: Battery > 10%
- Purple Light ON: Battery < 10%
Playback Recording
- Method 1: Playback recordings through the App. You can allow fast sync of the recordings by enabling a Wi-Fi connection on the App for long recordings; the speed of Wi-Fi transfer is 20 times faster than that of Bluetooth.
- Method 2: Connect to Mac or Windows computer via cable and wait for a few seconds before the U Disk is identified. The recordings are in the folders according to your scene setting of PLAUD NOTE.
- Method 3: Use a USB adapter to connect with phones via its OTG function.
Out of Storage
When you see yellow light flashing, the PLAUD NOTE storage is full. Please
either sync your file to the PLAUD app and delete your files in the recorder
or connect your PLAUD NOTE to compute to delete your file in U Disk.
Out of Battery
When your product is out of battery, please recharge it and connect it to your
PLAUD app to sync the accurate time zone.

12 Months Worry-Free Warranty
Customers of the PLAUD NOTE Voice Recorder enjoy 12 months of warranty service
as of the date of purchase. Customers shall show valid invoices to enjoy the
warranty service. The warranty service applies if
- The Recorder is not dismantled, repaired, maintained, or modified without permission;
- The Recorder is not operated in an abnormal environment;
- The Recorder is not damaged due to a violation of the user’s manual;
- The Recorder has not experienced a collision, falling, or bending due to improper storage or faults and significant deformations due to liquid leakage in humid places.

Recording Backup
Back up your recordings regularly, and the manufacturer is not held accountable for any data loss. -
Battery
If the product is not used for a long time, please charge and discharge the product once every three months to prevent battery damage. -
Storage Capacity
The system software will occupy a small portion of the storage space. The actual usable capacity will be slightly smaller than the capacity indicated in the specifications.

Battery Caution & Disposal Information
Please take care of your battery. Do not; disassemble, burn, puncture, crush
or bend your battery. Improper operation of the battery may produce smoke. In
such an event, ventilate the area. Extinguish any flames with carbon dioxide,
dry-powder fire extinguisher, or cover with sand or mud. Take care to avoid
conditions of excessive moisture for prolonged periods and do not immerse. Do
not expose to temperatures above 50℃/122°F. Charge the battery fully before
storage or if stored for longer than three months. The operating temperature
of this product is 0℃ (32°F) to 35℃(95°F). Ambient temperature should not
exceed 45 C (113 F).
Disposal
At the end of its life, please take care to dispose of this product
responsibly. Electronic products and batteries contain materials that can be
harmful to the environment. Please do not dispose to unsorted waste. Take your
electronic waste to a designated collection or recycling facility to be
recycled properly. Your local council authority will be able to tell you where
your nearest facilities are. There may be one at your local supermarket.
