Orbegozo FH-5040-A Fan Heater
Product Information
This product is a fan heater designed for household use. It has a power rating of 2.0 KW and features manual control of heat output with an integrated thermostat. - Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
- CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
- The device should not be placed immediately below a socket base.
- Do not place a heater in use near curtains, furniture, wood panelling or combustible material which can deteriorate with heat.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or pool.
- Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
- Do not use the appliance in flammable atmospheres (e.g. in the vicinity of combustible gases or sprays cans)!Explosion and fire hazard!
- Allow ample space around the heater. A safe area to be left free is 100 cm at the front and at the sides and 100 cm at the top.
- Always unplugged the heater after use.
- Important! Do not insert any foreign objects into the appliance openings! Risk of injury (electric shock) and damage to the appliance!
- Keep the mains cord at a safe distance from the air inlet and outlet grilles.
- Do not use this heater if it has been dropped.
- Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heater.
- Use this heating appliance on a horizontal and stable surface, or if possible fix it to a wall.
- WARNING: Do not use this heater in rooms that are occupied by persons who cannot leave the room by themselves, unless permanent surveillance is provided.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or other flammable material at least 1m away from the air outlet.
SAFE POSITIONING
- The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet
- For your own safety and that of others : water and electricity are a dangerous combination! Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Ensure that the appliance cannot fall into water (bath wash basin, shower cubicle, etc.)

- Do not use the heater on extremely deep-pile carpets!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The selector switch and the thermostat knob enable you to select the following
functions
Selector switch
- OFF. Both the fan and the two heating elements are switched off
- “Cool air”. Only the fan is switched on
- “Warm air for gradual heating-up. ECO position (1000 W) : the fan and one of the heating elements are switched on.
- “Hot air” for quick heating-up. Full power (2000 W ): the fan and the two heating elements are switched on.
Thermostat knob
With the thermostat knob you can set a constant room temperature. When the
selector switch is set to position I or position II the heater will
automatically switch on as soon as the room temperature falls below the set
temperature.
As soon as the set temperature falls is reached, the switch will turn off.
Rotate the knob clockwise to obtain a higher temperature setting or anti-
clockwise for a lower temperature setting.
You may adjust the thermostat during use.
Control lamp
The control lamp indicates the operation if any step is turned on in
combination with the thermostat switch.
If the steps switch turned on position 0 or the device by the electricity
mains is taken, the control lamp goes out.

This heater can be placed on vertical or horizontal position as following

OVERHEATING SAFETY DEVICE
To prevent damage and risks due to overheating, the built-in overheating
safety device cuts off the power as soon as the heating elements become too
hot.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning.
We recommend that you clean your heater at least twice a year to remove
accumulated dust and dirt.
- Set the selector switch to position 0 to switch off. Remove the mains plug from the wall socket. Wait for the heater to cool down sufficiently.
- You may clean the outside of the heater with a damp cloth or brush. Do not use water or allow water to come into the appliance. Do not use any abrasive and caustic cleaning agents!
- Never touch the heater in water! Danger to life!
- Clean the air inlet and outlet grilles regularly with a vacuum cleaner, using the brush attachment.
Storage
Keep the original box in which the heater was packed to store it during the
warmer months when it is not in use. Clean the heater according to the
instructions under
Pack the heater in the original box and store it in a cool, dry place.
