SMARFID MW322 Multi Technology Proximity Card Reader Installation Guide
Summary:
MW322 is a multi-technology proximity card reader, which adopts advanced RF receiving circuit design and embedded microcontroller, Read both CSN and Sector of Mifare card and FULL UID of Mifare Plus and DesFire card. It has high receiving sensitivity, Small working current, high safety, high stability, fast card reading speed. Support Wiegand and OSDP output format, and can set the function through the configuration card.
Mounting:
Specification:
Recommendation:
- Linear DC Power Supply;
- 22AWG shielded cable; it’s required to do “one-point” ground. (As shown in the diagram)
Wiring:
Power up Sequences:
- When reader is powered up, the Red back will flicker for 5 seconds in the reader configuration mode. The Reader configure will be changed while the reader configure card present to reader in the reader configuration mode. The reader will beep once after 5 sec configuration mode and the reader is in Ready mode.
- Present the card. The Blue LED will flicker once; buzzer will beep once.
- When card is present and read by the reader, Blue back lit will flash once; and buzzer will beep once as well. The card data will then transmit to the controller. After, whether the back lit of the reader will remain ON or Flash or change to Green or Red color, this shall depend on the Green and Blue LED inputs.
- For number pad reader, when a number is pressed and successfully detected, the back lit under the number will flash 1 time and the buzzer will beep once. The number being pressed will burst out by default (4 bits burst).
Physical Dimension:
Wiegand / OSDP definition:
- Wiegand mode. (Factory default)
- OSDP mode: Swipe the Wiegand / OSDP configuration card to shift Wiegand / OSDP mode.
