ASSEMBLY
STEP 1: ATTACHING WHEELS
- Slide a 8″ wheel onto each rear axle, and a 6″ wheel onto each front axle.
- Secure each wheel onto respective axle with provided lock nuts.
- Check to make sure lock nuts are tight.
STEP 2: YOKE RETAINING BLOCK REMOVAL
Your jack has been shipped with a retaining block to hold the yoke in the
downward position. This must be removed.
CAUTION: RETAINING BLOCK UNDER LOAD AND COULD POP OUT AND CAUSE PERSONAL
OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. WEAR EYE PROTECTION AND GLOVES
TO REMOVE. Push down on the yoke until the block can be removed from between
yoke and pull rod. A second person may be needed to hold the front of the jack
down while applying downward force to the yoke. Remove the block and allow the
yoke to raise to it’s upper resting position.
STEP 3: ATTACHING PUMP HANDLE
- Slide the lower handle into the upper handle until snap pin locks.
- Loosen the handle socket screw in the yoke.
- Apply a small amount of grease to the handle socket.
- Place the assembled handle into the handle socket.
- Tighten the handle socket screw.
OPERATION
Before use, a visual inspection of the jack shall be made looking for bent, worn or loose parts, or hydraulic leaks. If any of these conditions exist, the jack should be removed from service.
JACK USE
- Make sure the jack and the vehicle are on a level surface.
- Always set the vehicle parking brake and block the wheels.
- Consult the vehicle owners manual to ascertain the location of jack points and position the jack beneath the prescribed lift point.
- Turn the handle clockwise to closed position. Do not over tighten!
- Pump the handle and raise the vehicle to the desired height.
- Place jack stands beneath the vehicle at locations recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, and do not get under the vehicle without jack stands, as jacks are not designed to maintain these heavy loads for long time periods.
- Turn handle slowly counterclockwise to lower load onto jack stands.
WARNING
- Removal of saddle pad is required when using saddle extension on soft surfaces.
- Make sure to center load on extension saddle prior to lifting.
- Make sure extension saddle seated and locked in saddle base prior to lifting.
- Make sure extension adjustment pin is securely locked prior to lifting.
- Only use saddle extension provided by manufacturer.
- Only use saddle extension on level surfaces.
SADDLE EXTENSION
- Remove saddle pad
- Place saddle extension on lower saddle
- Rotate saddle extension until locking flanges on both upper and lower saddle are fully engaged
- Adjust saddle extension to desired height
- Replace rubber saddle if using on hard surface
- Install adjustment pin.
Off center load will make jack unstable. Make sure that load is always in the
center of the saddle.
Saddle pad is removable, remove saddle pad to utilize saddle cup when
necessary.
Lift Height Guide
SADDLE EXTENSION HOLDER
To place saddle extension in the holder:
- Make sure saddle extension is on the lowest height setting and secure with pin.
- Place saddle saddle extension sideways into the holder and secure spring clamp over the top.
LOWERING THE VEHICLE
- Turn handle clockwise to closed position.
- Pump handle to lift vehicle off of jack stands
- Remove jack stands. Do not get under or let anyone else under the vehicle.
- Turn handle SLOWLY counterclockwise to lower the vehicle onto the ground.
JACK STORAGE
Always store your jack in the fully lowered position. This will protect critical areas from excessive corrosion.
MAINTENANCE
Monthly maintenance is recommended. Lubrication is critical to jacks as they support heavy loads. Any restriction due to dirt, rust, etc., can cause either slow movement or cause extremely rapid jerks, damaging the internal components. The following steps are those designed to keep the jack well lubed:
- Lubricate the ram, linkages, saddle and pump mechanism with light oil. Grease wheel bearings and axles.
- Visually inspect for cracked welds, bent, loose, missing parts or hydraulic oil leaks.
- If jack is subjected to abnormal load or shock, remove from service and have it examined by an Authorized Repair Service.
- Clean all surfaces and maintain all labels and warnings.
- Check and maintain the ram oil level.
ANNUAL INSPECTION
The product shall be maintained in accordance with the product instructions.
No alterations shall be made to this product. It is recommended that an annual
inspection of the jack be made by ALLTRADE TOOLS LLC or by an authorized
Repair Facility.
Please call 1-844-342-3108 for customer

- Before use, a visual inspection of the jack should be made for abnormal conditions such as cracked welds, damaged, bent, worn, loose or missing parts, or hydraulic leaks.
- Inspections shall be performed in accordance with this manual.
- The product shall be inspected immediately if the jack is believed to have been subjected to an abnormal load or shock. It is recommended that this inspection be made by an authorized customer service representative prior to use.
- Repair of this equipment requires specialized knowledge and facilities. If the jack is subjected to abnormal load or shock, remove from service and have it examined by an authorized inspection facility for parts or repairs. An annual inspection of the product should be made by a manufacturer’s authorized repair facility. Any defective parts, decals, or safety labels shall be replaced with manufacturer’s specified parts. CHECKING OIL LEVEL
WARNING
Do not use brake or transmission fluids, or regular motor oil as they can damage the seals. Always purchase and use products labeled Hydraulic Jack Oil.
- Turn handle counterclockwise to allow ram to fully retract. It may be necessary to apply downwards force to the saddle for lowering.
- With jack in upright position remove oil fill plug. Oil should be even level indicated (see Fig. 1 & 2). If not, top up. Do not overfill. Always fill with new, clean hydraulic jack oil.
- Replace fill plug.
- Check jack operation.
At this time, consult Troubleshooting section for System Air Purge.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Symptoms | Solutions |
---|---|
Will not lift load | See steps 1 through 5 |
Will not hold load | See step 4 |
Will not lift to full height | See steps 1 & 2 |
Pump feels “spongy” under load | See steps 1 & 2 |
Handle raises under load | See step 2 |
Handle lowers under load | See step 2 |
Step 1 – The power unit may be low on fluid. With the jack on a level
surface and in the down position, remove the oil plug and add clean hydraulic
jack fluid to the level of the oil plug hole.
Step 2 – Equalize air pressure between atmosphere and oil reservoir tank.
First pump the jack handle a few times and then open release the valve. Pinch
the rubber seal or remove the oil fill plug screw (depends on model). Once the
seal is broken there will be the sound of air equalizing pressure between
atmosphere and reservoir. Replace plug and proceed.
Step 3 – Close release valve and pump the jack. If the lift arm raises
normally then the jack is fixed. If the lift arm raises slowly continue to
equalize air pressure as described in Step-2 and pump the handle until lift
arm is at the top position.
Warning: If Steps 1-2 do not work then the ball valves in the pump are stuck.
Step 4 – To fix stuck valves, close release mechanism (Turn handle
clockwise) then pull up on lift arm while holding wheels down. If lift arms
stay up then lower jack and try to pump handle. If lift arm goes down go to
step 5. If lift arm doesn’t raise normally then repeat with release mechanism
tighten. Continue this until jack operates normally.
Step 5 – OPEN release mechanism and pull lift arm up. While lifting up on
the lift arm tighten release mechanism. Lift arm should stay up.
Pinch rubber seal on oil reservoir to release air. Repeat Steps 4 & 5 until
problem is solved.
Warning: If the above steps do not fix the issues with your jack call the
customer service # in this manual.
