Product Usage Instructions

Battery Installation:

1. Turn the tailcap in a counterclockwise direction to remove the cap.
2. Remove the battery cartridge.
3. Place four AAA batteries into the cartridge in the direction indicated on the cartridge.
4. Replace the cartridge in the light with the red end going in first.
5. Replace the tail cap and turn it clockwise to tighten it until it is fully closed.

Quick CycleTM Switch Operation:

This flashlight is equipped with COAST’s Quick CycleTM Switch, featuring medium, high, and low beams.

1. To activate the medium mode from the off position, press the on/off switch until it clicks once, then release. Press the on/off switch until it clicks a second time to turn off the light.
2. To activate the high mode, press the on/off switch until it clicks a third time, then release. Press the on/off switch until it clicks a fourth time to turn off the light.
3. To activate the low mode, press the on/off switch until it clicks a fifth time, then release. Press the on/off switch until it clicks a sixth time to turn off the light.
4. The light can also be operated in momentary mode. Momentary mode is activated by partially depressing the on/off switch (less pressure than required for a full click). The momentary switch will cycle the light through the medium, high, and low beam modes.
5. Any time the light is turned off for more than five seconds, the medium/high/low cycle will reset, and the high beam will be activated when the light is turned back on.

Beam Adjustment:

• To adjust the beam into the Bulls-EyeTM Spot mode, slide the head of the light all the way forward.
• To adjust the beam into the broad, flood light mode, slide the head of the flashlight back.
• The beam can be locked into any position, from full flood beam to spot beam. To lock the beam in position, turn the head of the light to the left.

Maintenance:

Wipe the external body with a cloth moistened with water or isopropyl alcohol. Allow alcohol to dry before use. Do not submerge.

QUICK CYCLE™ SWITCH OPERATION

PURE BEAM® FOCUSING OPTIC WITH SLIDE FOCUS™:
This flashlight is equipped with COAST’s Pure Beam® Focusing Optic with Slide Focus™ that allows the user to choose between a broad flood beam and a focused Bulls-Eye™ Spot beam for long distance illumination.

• To adjust the beam into the Bulls-Eye™ Spot mode, slide the head of the light all the way forward.
• To adjust the beam into the broad, flood light mode, slide the head of the flashlight back.
