Product Information
The 12V Car Charger is a portable charger designed to charge lithium-ion batteries from the Ozito Power X Change (PXC) range. It has an input voltage of 12V DC and an output voltage of 21V DC. The charger has a maximum output current of 5.8A.
The charging time for different battery capacities is as follows:
- 30 minutes – PXBP-150 (18V 1.5Ah)
- 40 minutes – PXBP-200 (18V 2.0Ah)
- 50 minutes – PXBP-250 (18V 2.5Ah)
- 60 minutes – PXBP-300 (18V 3.0Ah)
- 75 minutes – PXBP-400 (18V 4.0Ah)
- 100 minutes – PXUBP-520 (18V 5.2Ah)
- 120 minutes – PXUBP-460 (18V 6.0Ah Max.)
- 150 minutes – PXUBP-580 (18V 8.0Ah Max.)
The charger features charge status LEDs, and a 12V DC car plug, and is designed for indoor use only.
Product Usage Instructions
Battery Warnings
- The battery pack is not fully charged out of the carton. Before charging, read the safety instructions provided.
- Only use the charger specifically designed for the Ozito Power X Change rechargeable batteries.
- Do not short-circuit the battery pack or expose it to high temperatures.
- Avoid exposing the battery pack to water or moisture.
- Avoid storing the battery pack in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Do not ignite the battery pack or expose it to fire, as there is a risk of explosion.
- Do not exhaustively discharge batteries, as it can damage the battery cells.
Charger Warnings
- Check the data marked on the rating plate of the battery charger and ensure it is connected to a power supply with the correct voltage.
- Protect the charger and its cable from damage and sharp edges. Have damaged cables repaired by an authorized service agent before use.
- Keep the charger, batteries, and cordless tool out of children’s reach.
- Do not use damaged battery chargers.

Charging a Battery
- Ensure that you are using a lithium-ion battery from the Ozito PXC range.
- Place the charger on a stable surface and keep it away from heat sources.
- Connect the charger to the power supply.
- The LED on the charger will flash green to indicate that power is being supplied.
- Insert the battery into the charger, ensuring proper alignment.
- The LED will change color or illuminate to indicate the charging status.
- Wait for the specified charging time for your battery capacity.
- Once the charging is complete, disconnect the charger from the power supply and remove the battery from the charger.

BATTERY & CHARGER SAFETY WARNINGS

CHARGING A BATTERY 2
WARNING! THE CHARGER SHOULD ONLY BE USED TO CHARGE LITHIUM ION BATTERIES FROM THE OZITO PXC RANGE.
WARNING! DO NOT COVER OR PLACE ANY OBJECT ON TOP OF THE CHARGER; PLACE THE CHARGER AWAY FROM HEAT SOURCES.
- Connect the charger to the power supply and the LED will flash green showing power is being supplied to the charger. NOTE : Start the car and keep the engine on to avoid a flat car battery.
- Align and then slide the ribs on the battery into the recess in the charger.
- The red LED will illuminate while the battery charges.

The green LED will illuminate once the battery is charged.
Charger LED Indicator LightsLED Indicator| Situation
GREEN (Flashing)| Stand By (no battery pack is inserted)
RED (Flashing)| The battery is charging (low charge)
RED (Illuminated)| Battery is fast charging (mid-charge)
GREEN (Illuminated)| The battery is 85% – 100% charged and is ready for use.
BOTH(Illuminated)| The battery pack is too hot or too cold (charging will begin automatically when the battery reaches the correct charging temperature).
BOTH (Flashing)| The battery is defective, and charging is no longer possible. Do not charge. Contact Ozito Customer Service.
BOTH (Alternating Flashes)| The vehicle battery is below 11.5V or above 16V. Charging is paused to protect the vehicle battery. Start the engine to recharge the vehicle battery. If the error persists, the vehicle battery may be above 16V and is not compatible with this charger. Do not continue use.
WARNING! REMOVE THE 12V PLUG FROM THE CAR OUTLET WHEN THE CHARGER IS NOT IN USE.
Mounting The Charging Unit
The charging unit can be mounted to a wall or work surface. The correct
dimensions for drill holes can be found on the back of the charging unit; a
template for the mounting hole locations can also be found on the Ozito
website. Mount the charger at least 10cm from the surface edge and 1 meter
from the ceiling.
Note: When mounting on a wall you must use suitable screws, e.g. 3.5mm pan-head screws, to prevent damage to the housing and the risk of falling
MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the charger from the power source before cleaning
- Keep the charger in a dry place out of reach of children
