FUNCTIONALITY
WHICH PRE-SET PROGRAMMES AND FUNCTIONS DOES THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER HAVE?
• Pulse function – to make your smoothies, cream soups and dips. • Ice- crushing programmes – for crushing ice or for making mocktails or slush beverages containing frozen fruit juice for kids. • Smoothie programme – for blending fresh whole soft and fibrous fruit and vegetables to make smoothies, process ice cream, milk shakes and frappé ice coffees. • Interval programme – for the stirring of powders like Nutrilite All Plant Protein, Nutrilite Fibre Powder or powder-based and ready-made fruit-flavoured drinks. It’s also great for preparing eggs for omelettes, or for cleaning the Nutrilite Electric High- Speed Blender jar.
WHAT DO I NEED THE STEPLESS SPEED CONTROL FOR?
Use the Stepless Speed Control setting to achieve the consistency you want for the recipe you’re making. The setting allows you to adjust speed according to whether you’re making a drink, smoothie, mocktail or emulsions, such as mayonnaise, dressings, marinades, purees, dips, sauces, or soups. It’s also great for mixing other food ingredients to create mixes like batter, for pureeing and for adding air to liquids.
HOW DOES THE PULSE FUNCTION WORK?
The Pulse function works at the highest speed and stops immediately once you release it. You can use the Pulse function to make smoothies extra creamy or to control the blending process by setting the speed manually.
HOW DO I PREPARE DIPS, HUMMUS, CREME DESSERT AND OTHER FOODS WITH SIMILAR CONSISTENCY BEST?
The Stepless Speed Control is most appropriate for such foods. Make sure that you put the liquid in the jar first, followed by the solid ingredients. If the solid ingredients are larger, cut them into smaller pieces before blending. If your recipe contains leaves (e.g. herbs like mint), place them on top. Fill the jar to ¼ or ½ (maximum) and start blending at slow speed. As the mixture starts to break down, you can gradually increase the blending speed.
DOES THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER HAVE AN AUTO-CLEAN FUNCTION?
Yes, the Blender does have an auto-clean function, which is activated by using the Interval programme. Detailed instructions on the auto-clean function and how to use it can be found in the user manual.
DOES THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER SWITCH OFF AUTOMATICALLY IN THE EVENT OF OVERHEATING?
Yes, the Blender switches off automatically in the case of overheating. If this happens, disconnect the mains cord and allow the NUTRILITE Electric High- Speed Blender to cool down completely before using again. If you suspect that overheating was caused by the quantity of food in the jar, reduce the quantity before resuming.
CAN I GRIND COFFEE BEANS, NUTS, OR HARD CHEESE WITH THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER?
No, the knife set is designed for blending ingredients, not grinding.
CAN RAW MEAT BE MINCED OR GROUND WITH THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER?
Raw meat must not be processed using the NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender.
OPERATION
I AM ABOUT TO USE MY NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER FOR THE FIRST TIME, BUT I SMELL PLASTIC. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
There might be a light plastic smell when first using the NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender. This is caused by lubricant oil in the motor and is not a cause for concern. A few minutes after initial use, the smell disappears.
THERE IS A MAXIMUM FILL LINE FOR THE JAR BUT THERE IS NO MINIMUM. WHAT IS THE MINIMUM FILL?
For best results, ensure that the blender’s blades are covered by liquid. This typically occurs with around 250 ml of liquid.
REMOVING THE KNIFE SET FROM THE JAR USING THE TOOL PROVIDED REQUIRES SOME FORCE. CAN’T THE KNIFE SET BE FITTED LESS TIGHTLY?
Given the power of the NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender, it is important that the knife set is fitted tightly to the glass jar to avoid potential leakage. Please ensure that the knife set fits tightly after cleaning (and before using again).
HOW DO I CRUSH ICE WITH THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER?
First, pour ice into the jar and place the lid firmly on top. Then press the button. The corresponding indicator lamp will then illuminate (the other two indicator lamps will go out). The NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender automatically starts the programme with different speeds and multiple pauses. The programme automatically ends after about 33 seconds.
HOW DO I PREPARE SMOOTHIES WITH THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER?
Unless otherwise indicated in the recipe, place all the smoothie ingredients in the NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender jar. Start with the liquid ingredients followed by the softest ingredients first. If adding any green leaves (e.g. mint or spinach), include them at the end and place them on top of the other ingredients. Add some water to aid the blending process. When all the ingredients have been added and the lid placed firmly on top, press the button. The corresponding indicator lamp will illuminate (the other two indicator lamps will go out). The NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender then starts an automatic programme with different speeds to mix the smoothie. The programme ends automatically after about 60 seconds.
CAN I USE THE PRE-SET PROGRAMMES TOGETHER WITH THE STEPLESS SPEED CONTROL?
No, when the Stepless Speed Control is activated, the pre-set programmes are not available.
IS THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER DISHWASHER SAFE?
All removable parts of the Blender are dishwasher safe, apart from the knife set. For best results, place the lid and the measuring cup in the upper part of your dishwasher. The knife set should not be washed in the dishwasher. Handwashing the knife set keeps the blades sharper for longer. The engine base should be cleaned using a damp cleaning cloth – it should never be soaked or washed in the dishwasher.
THE MAXIMUM FILL CAPACITY IS 1.8 LITRES. DOES THIS APPLY TO EVERYTHING I WANT TO BLEND?
The maximum fill capacity line applies to liquids. Thick mixtures puree most efficiently if the NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender is ¼ to ½ full.
CAN I BLEND WARM FOOD IN THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER?
Yes, you can blend warm food in the Blender. For safe processing and great blending results, do not put more than 2 cups / 475 ml of warm (not warmer than 40 °C) ingredients into the NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender before starting to blend and place the lid firmly on top. After the blending process has begun and the blades are turning, you can slowly add another 1½ cups / 350 ml of ingredients through the opening in the lid, if desired.
WHAT CAN I DO WHEN THE ITEMS I AM BLENDING STICK TO THE JAR SIDES?
Stop the NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender, remove the jar from its housing and scrape down the sides of the NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender jar with a plastic or rubber spatula. Do this once or twice during blending to ensure all ingredients are processed properly. Make sure to place the lid firmly on top again.
CAN I BLEND INGREDIENTS AND THEN PUT THE JAR INTO THE MICROWAVE TO HEAT?
No, the jar and its stainless steel knifes are not designed for microwave use.
THE CORD IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO REACH THE SOCKET. CAN I USE AN EXTENSION CORD?
Yes, an extension cord can be used. Take care to ensure the extension cord is safe for use with the appropriate socket.
BLEND & GO CUP
THE BLEND & GO CUP IS MADE OF TRITAN. WHAT IS TRITAN?
Tritan plastic is a food-safe plastic. Not only is Tritan BPA-free, but it is also free from BPS (bisphenol S) and ALL other bisphenols.
WHY IS THE BLEND & GO CUP NOT MADE OF GLASS, LIKE THE LARGE JAR?
The benefit of Tritan over glass is its weight. As the Blend & Go Cup is designed to be portable and mobile, it should not add unnecessary weight to your bag. It is also a tough and robust material.

CAN I DOWNLOAD THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER?
Every NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender comes with a user manual, included in the box. This document is not currently available to download.
WARRANTY
WHAT IS THE WARRANTY PERIOD OF THE NUTRILITE ELECTRIC HIGH-SPEED BLENDER?
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase and lasts for 2 years. To make a claim under the warranty, you must retain the invoice to prove the date of purchase.
HOW SHOULD I NOTIFY AMWAY OF A DEFECT WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD?
Please call your local Amway Service Center. You can find details of how to do this here (link to the section on the website) or in the user manual. You must notify Amway of a defect within one month of discovering it.

The knives are made of stainless steel (Food Grade SUS420).

The NUTRILITE Electric High-Speed Blender requires a powerful engine to provide a high revolution per minute. At maximum speed, the noise level is less than 90 dB (1 metre from the product, background noise level is less than 65 dB).
