GENERAL RECOMENDATIONS

Evaporative coolers work by passing a flow of air through cooling filters, which are saturated with water, so that by increasing their relative humidity they lower air’s temperature. They convert hot, dry air into cool, humid air. In addition, the fact that they filter the air serves to purify the atmosphere and improve air quality.

To achieve maximum cooling and air quality, consider the following recommendations:

  1. Symbol Use the equipment in well-ventilated places. If used in a confined or poorly ventilated space, the performance of the equipment may be greatly reduced and it will be very difficult to lower the air temperature.
  2. Symbol Try to place the equipment with your back to an open door or window, so that as much new air as possible entering the room passes through our equipment. This will increase the performance of the equipment and improve the quality of the air we breathe.
  3. Symbol Keep equipment filters clean. The cleaner they are, the more cooling and air filtering power our equipment will have.
  4. Symbol Change the water in the tank as soon as you detect that it contains dirt. Part of the airborne particles passing through the filters can end up in the water tank. Using equipment with dirty water decreases performance, worsens air quality and can create operational problems.
  5. Before storing the equipment, make sure the filters and the reservoir are clean and dry.
  6. Do not put any liquid into the reservoir other than water. Mixing chemicals with water can endanger the health of people, animals and plants, as well as damage the cooling filters.
