OCEAN MATRIX OMX-HDMI-HDB1X4 HDMI Extender Splitter
Product Information
The OMX-HDMI-HDB1X4 is a 1×4 HDMI Extender Splitter Set by Ocean Matrix. It is
designed for various applications such as projection screens, remote
conferencing, CCTV, high-end security, and remote HD monitoring. This extender
set allows you to split a single HDMI input signal into four HDMI output
signals while extending the HDMI signals up to 80m (CAT5), 100m (CAT5e), and
120m (CAT6). It supports full HD resolutions up to 1080p@60Hz and offers plug-
and-play functionality. The rugged metal mountable housing ensures durability
and the extender set is protected against lightning, surge, and ESD.
Product Usage Instructions
- Installation:
- Use a Cat6 network cable following the IEEE-568B wiring
- standard: 1. Orange/White 2. Orange 3. Green/White 4. Blue 5.
- Blue/White 6. Green 7. Brown/White
- Connection:
- Connect the HDMI input of the source device with the HDMI output of the extender’s transmitter.
- Connect the IR blaster extension cable to the IR extender out port.
- Connect the RJ45 port of the transmitter with the RJ45 input port of the extender’s receiver.
- Connect the HDMI output of the extender’s receiver to the HDMI input of your HDTV and set the source input to the correct HDMI input channel.
- Troubleshooting:
- If the display shows “Waiting for Connection,” ensure that the power supply is firmly connected.
- If the display indicates signal loss, check all connections and connect the signal source directly to the display device to ensure there is a signal output. Change the signal source if necessary.
- If there is a degraded video signal, check the cable lengths between the transmitter and the switch, and between the switch and the receiver. Ensure that the connection between each level is
within the required ranges. If needed, press the RESET button on the transmitter or receiver’s front panel to reset and reconnect.

The Ocean Matrix OMX-HDMI-HDB1X4 splitter extender system over a single Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 distributes 1 HDMI source to 4 HDMI displays simultaneously. This system extends high-definition audio/video transmission beyond the standard distances for HDMI cable limitations via HDbitT technology. The OMX- HDMI-HDB1X4 delivers a full 1080P HDMI signal up to 394 feet over a single Cat6 network cable. IR support allows for remote control of the source at a secondary location with IR extension cables (included). Ideal for projection screens, remote conferencing, CCTV, high-end security, and remote HD monitoring.

Installation
Cat6 Network Cable – follow the IEEE-568B wiring standard:

Connection
- Connect HDMI input with the HDMI output of the source device
- Connect the IR blaster extension cable to the IR extender outport

Troubleshooting
- The display shows “Waiting for Connection

Damage requiring service
- The unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel if:
- The DC power supply cord or AC adaptor has been damaged
- Objects or liquids have gotten into the unit
- The unit has been exposed to rain
- The unit does not operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance; The unit has been dropped or the cabinet is damaged.
- Servicing Personnel: Do not attempt to service the unit beyond that described in these operating instructions. Refer all other servicing to authorized servicing personnel.
