APPLICATION FEATURES

  1. Install the microphone on the microphone stand using the ho lder
  2. Connect microphone to the equipment using the microphone cable
  3. Point microphone at the sound source
  4. To ensure external noise cancelling, make sure that there are no external sound sources in the active zone of the microphone
  5. To increase the service life of the microphone when working with vocalists, it is recommended to use a windscreen (Fig. 10)

OPERATION AND STORAGE

  • The microphone is designed for use in closed rooms and open areas (no precipitation is allowed on the microphone), at ambient temperatures from 1 °C to 45 °C and relative humidity of up to 98% at 35°C.
  • Do not expose the microphone to sharp shocks or impacts.

  • Do not use or store the microphone in rooms that contain acidic or other aggressive substances in the air.
  • When using the microphone in the presence of air streams with a speed of more than 0.5 m/s, it is recommended to use a microphone with an external wind noise reducer included in the delivery set or a wind noise reducer with similar properties.
  • When using a microphone to record speech or vocals, it is recommended to use an additional pop filter, if possible.
  • To avoid interference with the microphone signal, it is not recommended to use the microphone near sources of strong electromagnetic radiation (power transformers, welding machines, etc.).
  • Store the microphone in a dry, clean, and dust-free room at room temperature using the packing or case provided.
  • After keeping the microphone in climatic conditions that do not correspond to the operating conditions, before starting work, it is necessary to withstand the microphone for at least 1 hour in climatic conditions that correspond to the operating conditions.

POTENTIAL FAILURES

Problem Potential reason Troubleshooting recommendations
Microphone is not working Mixing console is not connected to the network.
Power supply on the mixing console is turned . Check your network connection.

Check the corresponding buttons on the mixing console.
Sound distortions| Input sensitivity or preamplification of the subsequent amplifier are adjusted incorrectly. Transmission of structure-borne noise. In case of 50 Hz background noise| Reduce the input sensitivity or preamplification of the next device so that there is enough modulation reserve.Use appropriate fastenin g for microphone boom (see page 28). please check the earthing connection.
A dull sound| Polar pattern is not taken into account.| Check if microphone is installed correctly.
