ET1540A Vibration Damper Tool

※ Maintain tool in good and clean condition for best and safest performance.

must be understand that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be
built into this product ,but must be applied by the operator.

Necessary preliminary work
※ Remove acoustic cover
※ Remove acoustic cover at front for belt drive, only F10,F11.
※ Remove drive belt for alternator.
Screw A1540-1 with special tool A1540-5 into receptacle of the guide pulley.
Note:
Use A1540-1 to turn the vibration damper in the direction of travel until the
A1540-6 audibly clicks into place on the vibration damper.
Secure A1540-1 vibration damper (A).
Loosen bolts (A) on the vibration absorber (B).
Installation note:
Replace radial shaft seal at front.
Installation note:
Position vibration damper as illustrated when refitting.
Installation note:
Secure the special tool A1540-1 again in the area of the vibration damper to
tighten the screws. Tighten screws crosswise.
Loose bolts (A) on vibration damper (B).
Remove special tool A1540-1 in the area of the vibration damper (A).
Remove vibration damper.
