ETG Series Table Top Gas Cooker

Instruction manual Please read the instruction manual carefully before using it and keep it for future reference and maintenance. This manual contains an important message and includes safe operation and special notes, a structure diagram, main technical data, installation instructions, operation steps, adjustment ways, clean and maintenance, and troubleshooting.

SAFE OPERATION AND SPECIAL MOTES

1. Check the gas type and pressure before using, making sure there was accord with the marks on the label, where be stuck on the side of the stove, do not use it if the gas type and pressure are conflicting. (Do not use high-pressure gas)
2. Keep the kitchen ventilates when using, there should have an air entrance hole and an opening exhaust appliance. (Ventilate fan or range hood)
3. There are forbidden to put flammable and explosive things around the stove.
4. Do not touch the burner cap, trivet and surface plate, etc., When using or just flame out to avoid scalding.
5. Shut off gas apply, open windows and doors to keep ventilation first when gas leakage or strange smell is found, must not use any electric appliance or operate any electric switch to avoid an accident.
6. If an accidental flame out happened when using, shut off the knob of the stove to avoid leakage.
7. Adults should be present when using( like the kitchen)
8. For the sake of safe operation, to avoid leakage caused by aging, the hose should be changed per year.
9. Shut off knob(s) of stove and valve of gas supply after using,

MAIN TECHNICAL DATA

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

1. Open the box, take out the polyfoam, and put it on the even ground, remove and abandon the poly bag.
   WARNING
   BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ABANDON THE POLY BAG IF IT IS ACCESSIBLE FOR CHILDREN. IT IS NOT A TOY FOR CHILDREN
   

2. Take out the gas stove, and put it upside down on the polyfoam, take out the legs, knob sets, and burner caps (forETG725GK&ETG735GK) bag, and release the trivets by unfastening the ties.

3. Install four legs on the four square yards by nuts as the followings show.

4. Take the stove back to its normal position, and install the knob in the following steps.
   

   Put the knob base in position, and pay attention in the right direction| Connect the spring to the knob, the small end shall be fixed on the knob| Push the knob as the arrow shows, and make sure the red direction mark on the knob matches the “OFF” mark on the base

5. Remove the fasten ties on the burner cap, put the center burner cap on the right side burner of item ETG725G, and put the center and mid burner cap on the right side and mid burner of ETG735GK.

6. Put the trivet in the right position

7. Take off the dust-proof cap of the gas inlet located at the back side of the stove, connect the gas pipe to the inlet, then fasten the connection by turning the clamp clockwise. WARNING: MAKE SURE THE SUPPLIED GAS AND PRESSURE IS THE SAME AS THE LABEL MARKED, DIFFERENT GAS TYPE AND PRESSURE WILL CAUSE SERIOUS RESULT OF BODY INJURY AND FORTUNE DAMAGE, EVEN DEAD.

8. Check leakage, turn the knob to the ” off ” position, put soap water on connectors of gas hose, then open the gas valve, bubbles indicate leakage if found. You need to check the gas connection again and then re-check the leakage. WARNING: LEAKAGE MUST BE CHECKED AT THE FIRST USE, NEVER USE THE STOVE WITHOUT A LEAKAGE CHECK.

9. The distance between the products put around and the stove should be more than 15cm, there should be more than 100cm space above the stove.

10. The distance between the stove and cylinder should be around 1 m, and the proper length of the inlet gas hose is 1 m-2m. One side of the hose connects the cylinder, and the other side connects the gas inlet hole of the stove, the hose can not contact the stove and thrill through the bottom of the stove, and can not bend it forcedly.

11. Both left and right burners of the stove can be used to heat convex bottom utensils or pans (cookers), the proper diameter of a convex bottom utensil is 32cm, the proper diameter of the pan is between 26-30cm, and the weight of food should less than 10kg; For 3 burner stove, the proper diameter of the pan is between 9-12cm for the mid burner, and the weight of food should be less than 1kg, the cooker should be put even not deflected.

12. It is recommended to install a range hood above the stove, and the distance between the top of the stove and to bottom of the range hood is about 700mm.

OPERATION STEPS AND ADJUSTMENT

1. Make sure all knobs are in the “off” position, then open the main gas valve.

2. Press the knob down by 3mm as the following drawing shows, then turn it counter-clockwise until you hear an ignition click, ignite the burner, then release the knob. (It may fail to ignite the first time because there is air in the hose, you have to repeat this procedure)

3. Adjustment: the flame can be adjusted by turning the knobs slowly. ( As drawing 3 shows) (Drawing 3)

4. Damper adjustment: the normal and good performance flame should be blue with a very small yellow flame at the flame tip. If you find the flame is too yellow, you can adjust the valve damper to get the desired flame WARNING
   THE DAMPER HAS BEEN SET BY THE PRODUCER, IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THE USER TO ADJUST IT BY THEMSELVES. ASK A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN OR INSTALLER TO ADJUST THE DAMPER IT IS REALLY NECESSARY.

5. Flame out: turn the knobs clockwise to the “off” position as drawing 3 shows, the flame will be extinguished, then close the main gas valve.

CLEAN AND MAINTENANCE

1. Surface, trivet, and mid burner cap of ETG735GK maintenance: wipe the glass surface & trivet dishcloth, which with medium scour, then dry thoroughly with a dry cloth.
2. Burner cap maintenance: in order to keep a good burning condition, it is better to clean the burner cap weekly. For the left and right burner caps of ETG725GK & ETG735GK, take off the burner cap by hand or nipper plier, clean it on a scouring pad with medium scour, then wash with clean water, and dry naturally, then put it back on the burner. For the left and right burner caps of ETG724GK, clean the burner cap with the steel clean plate.
