SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Inspect the product after delivery and before using for the first time to check its condition and the functionality of all the parts.
- Visually inspect the product for damage and check that it is safe to use each day before using it.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged.
- Remove any dirt, wet paint, clay, oil or snow, from the product.
- Never use the product if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
- Take regular breaks when in use – tiredness can put safety at risk.
- Secure the product in a suitable way when transporting it to avoid damage.
- Check that the product is suitable for the actual task.
- Take into consideration the risk of collision with pedestrians, vehicles, doors etc. when positioning the product. If possible lock/block doors and windows in the work area (excluding emergency exits).
- Use products made of non-conductive material when working where there is a risk of coming into contact with live components.
- Do not make any modifications to the product.
- Do not move the product when someone is on it.

Do not exceed the maximum load of 150 kg.
TO CHECK BEFORE USE
- Check that the feet and side pieces are not deformed, cracked, corroded or broken.
- Check that the attachments of other components in the side pieces are in good condition.
- Check that screw unions and other unions are firmly in place and not corroded.
- Check that no steps/rungs are missing, loose, worn, corroded or damaged.
- Check that all of the product is free from impurities (clay, paint, oil or grease).
- Check that lock catches are working correctly and are not damaged or corroded.
- Check that the platform is intact and not damaged or corroded.

USE
- The stool must be fully unfolded in the correct position.
- Catches, if available, must be fully locked before use.
- The stool must be placed on a smooth, level and stable footing.
- When positioning the stool, take into consideration the risk of collision with pedestrians, vehicles or doors. Lock doors (not emergency exits) and windows in the work area, where possible.
- The stool must be placed on its feet, not upside down.
- The stool must not be placed on slippery surfaces (for example, ice, glossy or heavily soiled surfaces) unless additional measures are taken to prevent it from slipping.
- Do not exceed the maximum load for the stool.
- Do not overreach.
- Do not get off the stool at a higher level without additional safety measures.
- Do not stack stools to reach higher up.
- Stools should only be used for simple jobs for short periods.
- Use stools that do not conduct electricity to do jobs where it is not possible to switch off the power.
- Do not use the stool outdoors in bad weather, for example in strong wind.
- Take precautions to prevent children playing on the stool.
- Focus on what you are doing when stepping up or down from the stool.
- Balance yourself when stepping up or down from the stool.
- Wear suitable footwear when standing on the stool.
- Avoid using strong pressure to the side, for example drilling in brick or concrete.
- Do not spend long periods on the stool without regular breaks (tiredness is a risk factor).
- Hold yourself with one hand when working from the stool, or take other safety precautions if this is not possible.
MAINTENANCE
- Check the parts on the stool and the hinges at regular intervals. Lubricate the hinges when necessary, but be careful not to drip oil on the steps or side rails.
- Stools should be stored where they are not exposed to rain or snow.
