Product Usage Instructions

To use the Boombox3, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the power cord is connected to the appropriate power source.
2. To pair your device via Bluetooth, turn on the Boombox3 and go to the Bluetooth settings on your device. Select “JBL Boombox 3” when it appears in the list of available devices.
3. Once connected, you can use the JBL PORTABLE app to configure the speaker settings and perform software upgrades.
4. To charge the speaker, connect the power cord to the AC-in port. The battery charging status will be displayed on the speaker.
5. The Boombox3 can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices. Connect your device to the USB-A port using a compatible cable.
6. The Boombox3 is waterproof and dustproof, with an IP67 rating. It can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without being damaged.

• To protect battery lifespan, fully charge at least once every 3 months. Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions.
• Do not expose the JBL Boombox 3 to liquids without removing cable connection. Do not expose JBL Boombox 3 to water while charging. It may result in permanent damage to the speaker or power source.
• Chemicals, salt or “foreign particles” in your pool or the ocean can damage the waterproof seals or harm the connector surface over time if not rinsed off after use. After a liquid spill or rinse, do not charge your speaker until it’s completely dry and clean. Charging when wet might damage your speaker.
