Instruction
Find the control that is the closest match by determining the following spec’s using the following steps.
STEP #1
-
Oven?
-
Griddle?
-
Steam Table?
STEP #2
Outlet size and configuration
Where is the rear housing tapped?
What is the thread size of the outlets?
TEP #3
Rear Housing Position
Always: View control from the back… with inlet port down and pilot/bypass
screw(s) up.
If you have to rotate the new control to match original, REMEMBER:
- Plug the pilot outlet first.
- Pay close attention to exactly which direction you rotate.
- Never separate the front from the back during rotation.
- Recalibrate after rotating.
STEP #4
Pilot Outlet
Yes? No? Is it plugged? Location of pilot outlet shown in Step #2.
Important Note: If the pilot outlet is not being used it must be plugged.
STEP #5
Mounting Flange Type
Wide? e 7/8″ width
Narrow? : 11/16″ width
Important Note: A new flange nipple will be required if the replacement deviates from original.
STEP #6
Capillary Length and Bulb Size
If you need help on this one, STOP. Drop all tools.
