Product Information

The RHV18 is a hand vac designed with safety, performance, and dependability in mind. It is intended for dry vacuuming in household or similar non- industrial applications. The product is not suitable for vacuuming liquids of any kind. Please read the instructions carefully before assembling, operating, and maintaining the hand vac.

Intended Use:
The hand vac is specifically designed for dry vacuuming in households or similar non-industrial settings. It should not be used for any other purpose. Using the product for operations different from its intended use could result in a hazardous situation.

Hand Vacuum Safety Warnings:

  • This appliance should not be used by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities unless they have received supervision or instruction from a responsible person regarding its use.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the hand vac.
  • The product is intended for household use only.
  • Never vacuum materials such as hot coals, cigarette butts, matches, etc.
  • Do not use the product without dust bowl or filter in place.
  • Use extra care when using the product on stairs.
  • Do not use the product to pick up hard objects such as nails, screws, coins, etc., as it may cause damage or injury.
  • Do not use the product to pick up liquids.
  • Remove the battery when the product is not in use or when changing accessories.
  • Rechargeable batteries should be removed from the product before being charged.
  • Exhausted batteries should be removed from the product and safely disposed of.
  • If the product is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed.
  • The supply terminals should not be short-circuited.

Additional Battery Safety Warnings:

  • To avoid the risk of fire, personal injury, and product damage, never immerse the tool, battery pack, or charger in fluid or allow fluid to flow inside them.
  • Avoid using corrosive or conductive fluids such as seawater, industrial chemicals, bleach, or bleach-containing products, as they can cause a short circuit.

Transporting Lithium Batteries:
When transporting the battery, follow local and national provisions and regulations. Adhere to all special requirements on packaging and labeling if transporting batteries by a third party. Ensure that batteries do not come in contact with other batteries or conductive materials during transport by protecting exposed connectors with insulating, non-conductive caps or tape. Do not transport cracked or leaking batteries. Consult the forwarding company for further advice.

Maintenance:

  • Use only original accessories and spare parts.
  • If components need replacement and are not described in the manual, contact an authorized service center.
  • Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts, as they may damage the plastic. Instead, use clean cloths to remove dirt and carbon dust.
  • Prevent brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc., from coming into contact with plastic parts, as they can cause damage and serious personal injury.

TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Transport the battery in accordance with local and national provisions and regulations.

Follow all special requirements on packaging and labelling when transporting batteries by a third party.   • Use only original accessories and spare parts. Should components need to be replaced which have not been described, please contact an authorised service centre. All repairs should be performed by an authorised service centre.
  • Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, carbon dust, etc.
  • Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury.
