Product Information

  • The HC-120X, Extra Large Hot Towel Cabinet, is designed for professional use only.
  • Severe burn hazard is possible if not used properly.
  • Rated at 110 VAC, 750W, and 6.8 amps.
  • Requires distilled water only; tap or ground water may damage the heating element.
  • Water level indication: Blue light – water level full, No light – water level normal, Red light – need to add distilled water immediately.
  • Heating element will not function until water is added and the red light turns off.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Make sure the cabinet is clean before using. Remove any unwanted/foreign items from inside the unit.
  2. Ensure the ON/OFF switch is off and Temp Control is turned to the lowest setting before plugging the unit into an electricaloutlet.
  3. Add distilled water slowly until the blue light turns on, indicating the water level is full.
  4. If the blue light turns red, it means distilled water needs tobe added immediately to prevent damage to the heating element.
  5. Wait for the red light to turn off before using the heating element.
  6. When the yellow light is off, reset the unit using the Reset Button (E).
  7. To clean the water reservoir, ensure the unit is unplugged and cooled down. Place a container under the plastic cap at the back of the unit and remove the cap to drain the water. Pour in clean water through the top inlet opening to flush the water line, repeating until the water comes out clean. Replace the plastic cap after cleaning.
  8. Exercise caution with high temperatures and stand away from the steamer door when opening to avoid burns.
  9. Unplug the cord and store it safely when not using the device.
  10. Avoid immersing or using the device near water.
  11. Do not operate if any parts are damaged.
  12. Use the device only for its intended purpose as described in the manual and do not use attachments not recommended by the seller.
  13. Do not use the device while sleeping or drowsy.
  14. Only use the device in a salon or spa under the close supervision of a professionally trained technician.
  15. Do not operate with a voltage converter.
  16. Ensure the device is placed on a level surface.
  17. Keep the device out of the reach of children in a safe, cool, dry location when not in use.

The HC-120X, Extra Large Hot Towel Cabinet, is for professional use only. This unit is NOT for home application and is to be used only by trained technicians. Severe burn hazard is possible if not used properly.

Operation Manual

  1. These products are rated at 110 VAC, 750W and 6.8 amps.

  2. Please make sure the cabinet is clean before using. Remove any unwanted/foreign items from inside the unit.

  3. Please make sure ON/OFF switch is off and Temp Control is turned to lowest setting before plugging unit into electrical outlet.

  4. Fill the tank with distilled water until blue light F turns on. Please add only distilled water, no tap or ground water; otherwise, the heating element will be easily damaged. When blue light turns red = Need to add water.

  5. Set the temperature to recommended 65°C (149°F) degrees for towel steamer.
    CAUTION: DO NOT SET TEMPERATURE OVER 65°C SEVERE BURN HAZARD. Red heating light will turn off when selected temperature is reached.

  6. The heating element comes with two safety features to prevent overheating damage to the towel steamer. Feature #1 will automatically turn off the heating element when water is low and top light turns red. Just need to add water. Feature #2 will automatically turn off the heating element when the when the water level is almost gone. In this case, the yellow light B will also turn off. The unit then needs to be reset. Turn the Temp Control to lowest setting and add distilled water. Remove the BLACK cover from Button E, and push the inside pin to reset the unit.

  7. To preserve the life expectancy of the heating element, always maintain proper water level.

  8. This unit uses the water level sensor to check the water level, so always keep the unit on a flat surface to make sure all the sides are balanced; otherwise, the heating element shuts off.

  9. The reservoir is smaller inside, so add the water slowly through the inlet.

  10. Do not overfill the steamer. If so, you will need to drain the excess water.

  11. After using each day, unplug the unit, dry the inside, and keep door open until next use to prevent odors and rust spots.

  12. Do not add any fragrances/chemicals into the towel steamer; the life expectancy will be shortened.

  • Always Hand-test Temperature of Towel Before Using on Any Part of Client’s Body
  • Every Person Has a Different Skin Sensitivity Levels To Temperature. Make Sure Client Is Not Experiencing Any Discomfort After Towel Application
  • Use Caution When Opening Door of Towel Warmer to Avoid Hot Steam
  • Clients with Any Issues of Skin Discomfort Should Obtain Professional Medical Attention Immediately

What temperature of water causes burns?
“Most adults will suffer third-degree burns if exposed to 65.6°C/150°F degree water for two seconds. Burns will also occur with a six-second exposure to 60°C/140°F degree water or with a thirty secondexposure to 54°C/130°F degree water. Even if the temperature is 49°C/120°F degrees, a five minute  exposure could result in third-degree burns.
”Cleaning Instructions For Water Reservoir:
Make sure the unit is unplugged and has cooled down before cleaning. The water reservoir needs to be cleaned every 2-3 months.

  1. Place a container/bucket under the plastic cap found on the back of the unit. Remove the cap to drain the water. Using the top inlet opening, pour in clean water to flush the water line. It may be helpful to tilt the unit rearward to drain all water from the reservoir. Repeat this process until the water comes out clean.
  2. Replace the plastic cap on the rear back panel after the unit is cleaned. Warning: Do not immerse the unit directly in the water, or the unit will be damaged.

WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fires, or injury to persons, never operate the device if:

It has a damaged cord or plug. It has been dropped in any manner.

  1. Be cautious with high temperatures. Stand away from the steamer door when opening. The hot air or steam which escapes can cause burns to hands, face and/or eyes.
  2. When not using the device, unplug the cord and store in a safe place.
  3. Do not immerse or use near water.
  4. Do not operate if any parts are damaged.
  5. Do not touch the plug when your hands are wet.
  6. Use this device only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments which are not recommended by the seller.
  7. Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
  8. Never use for any purpose other than its intended use in a salon or spa, and use under the close supervision of a professionally trained technician.
  9. Do not operate with a voltage converter.
  10. Only use this device on a level surface.

  17. If there are any broken wires or parts, do not use the unit. Please contact the original manufacturer for a replacement part to prevent any further damage or injury.
