INSTRUCTIONS

CO2 / SET TARGET HI / SET TARGET LOW
The device has three built-in main parameters: ambient carbon dioxide (7), Set Target Hi value (6), and Set Target Low value (5). They are constantly displayed on screen.

TREND CHART ZOOM
Below is a table showing the available Zoom Levels for all CO2 parameters, as well as the duration of each interval for corresponding Zoom Levels:

Zoom Level (Time Span) (8) Time Per Interval
1m (minute) 5sec /div
1h (hour) 5m/div
1d (day) 2h/div
1w (week) 0.5d/div
Auto Cycle Zoom Cycle

The DOWN button will toggle the available Zoom Levels for each parameter. Note that in addition to the Zoom Levels for each parameter, there is an option that will automatically cycle between the Zoom Levels. This can be achieved by pressing DOWN until icon (8) appears at the top of the chart.
AVG HI / AVG LO
At the top right corner of the display, there are two numerical indicators: AVG HI (2) and AVG LO (3). As the Zoom Level is changed, the AVG HI and AVG LO will reflect the average high and average low values on the chart of the selected parameter. At startup, the unit will automatically display values for 1d (day) value.
AUTO DETECT DAY/NIGHT
The built-in photocell sensor can automatically detect whether it is Day or Night. The green back lit display automatically turns off during the night period. If a button is pressed during this time the green back light will display for 30  seconds. In Greenhouse (Increase) mode it can override the CO2 control and shut off the CO2 generator or regulator by turning off the output power (CO2 Equipment socket) during the night. Conversely, if the Photo-Cell detects light  and the CO2 level is low, the device will start the CO2 generator by turning on the output power (CO2 EquIpment Socket). In Vent (Decrease) mode, Photo-Cell status does not affect the output power (Exhaust Fan socket) ON or OFF.
GREENHOUSE (INCREASE) CONTROL
This CO2 controller can be set for Greenhouse mode application by S5 ADVANCE Mode setting. CO2 Equipment socket is on when CO2 concentration is below Set Target Low. For example, if Set Target Low is 1000ppm, and the Set  Target Hi is 1400ppm, the output power will shut off when CO is over 1400ppm and power on when CO is below 1000ppm.autopilot APC8400 Digital CO2 Controller with
Integrated Sensor - CONTROL

VENT (DECREASE) MODE CONTROL
This CO2 controller can be set for Vent mode application by S5 ADVANCE Mode setting. Exhaust Fan socket is on when CO2 concentration is over Set Target Hi, and off when CO2 concentration is below Set Target Low.

HOLD HOME
To revert to start-up settings at any point, hold ENTER for 3 seconds until you hear audible beep. The device will then revert to Home Setting, as if the power was reset, displaying “Back Home done.” Note that this is not the same as Restore to factory settings.
