VIDAO VHT2235 2.0 Channel Soundbar

Connections

  1. USB IN: Use to connect a flash drive for direct MP3 playback (FAT32 format and 64GB max).
  2. OPTICAL IN: Use to connect compatible devices using an optical cable (not provided).
  3. HDMI(ARC): Use to connect compatible devices using an HDMI cable (not provided)
  4. AUX IN: Use to connect compatible devices using the 3.5mm – 3.5mm stereo jack (cable provided).
  5. DC IN: Use to connect the DC power supply.

LED display

  1. Red LED: Standby mode
  2. USB: USB media mode
  3. bt: Bluetooth mode
  4. OPT: Optical mode
  5. AUX: Auxiliary input mode
  6. ARC: HDMI(ARC ) mode
  7.  Press to power on/off the soundbar
  8.  Press to increase the volume
  9.  Press to decrease volume
  10.  Press to switch between different modes/inputs

Remote Control

Input Functions

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power on/off button on the remote control or soundbar control panel to tum the unit on and off.
  • AUX In: Connect a compatible device using a 3.5mm – 3.5mm stereo cable (provided), then press the MODE button on the remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until nAUX” is displayed on the LED display. Ensure the connected device is producing an audio signal, then adjust the volume of the soundbar using the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.
  • Bluetooth: Press the BT button on the remote control or repeatedly press the MODE button on the soundbar control panel until “bl” is shown on the LED display. The LED display will flash to indicate that the soundbar is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Ensure that the device (ex: smartphone, tablet, etc.) you wish to connect is also in pairing mode and search for “VHT2235” in its device list.
  • When the two devices are paired, the LED display on the soundbar will stop flashing and remain constant. You can now select and control the music you wish to hear directly from your device.
  • the MODE button on the soundbar control panel until “bl” is shown on the LED display. The LED display will flash to indicate that the soundbar is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Ensure that the device (ex: smartphone, tablet, etc.) you wish to connect is also in pairing mode, and search for “VHT2235” in its device list. When the two devices are paired, the LED display on the soundbar will stop flashing and remain constant. You can now select and control the music you wish to hear directly from your device.
  • For instructions on putting your device (ex: smartphone, tablet, etc.) into pairing mode, refer to the instruction manual that came with your device.
  • USB media mode: The soundbar is compatible with USB flash drives of up to 64GB in size and can play MP3 audio files directly. Simply insert a compatible drive into the USB port on the back of the soundbar and the unit will automatically switch to USB mode and play the first compatible track. USB repeat mode (accessed via the USB Playback Repeat button on the remote control) enables single track repeat (press once) and all track repeat (press twice).
  • The media player also has a memory function that will recall and continue from the last-played point when a USB flash drive that has previously been used with the soundbar is reinserted.
  • HDMI(ARC): Connect an HDMI ARC compatible lV to the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar using a standard HDMI cable (not supplied), then press the MODE button on the remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until HARC” is displayed on the LED display. Ensure HDMI ARC is selected as the lV’s audio output, then adjust the volume of the soundbar using the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.
  • For instructions on adjusting the audio output of your lV and/or adjusting the HDMI ARC settings of you lV, please refer to the instruction manual that came with your lV.
  • lfyourlV does not have a compatible HDMI ARC port, it is recommended to connect the lV to the soundbar using a digital optical cable (see below).
  • Optical In: Connect a compatible device to the OPTICAL port on the soundbar using a digital optical cable (not supplied), then press the MODE button on the remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until “OPT” is displayed on the LED display. Ensure “Optical” or “SPDIF” is selected as the lV’s audio output, then adjust the volume of the soundbar using the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel. Note: While in OPTICAL or HDMI ARC mode, if the sound bar is On but there is no sound output, you may need to activate the PCM output setting on your source device (ex: TV, Set-top Box, DVD, or Blu-ray player). Refer to the instruction manual of your device for instructions on activating PCM output.
  • Equalizer modes: The soundbar has 3 equalizer presets, tailored to complement various styles of sound. Press the EQ button on the remote to choose between Music (EQ1 ), Movie (EQ2), or News (EQ3) modes.
  • Wall mounting: The soundbar has two keyhole slots on the back to enable wall mounting, using the fixings provided or a compatible soundbar bracket.

LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY

We warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a one-year period from the original date of purchase from an authorized VIDAO dealer. Should you be missing any of the included accessories or other components (cables, etc.), please contact the Customer Support Center to secure a replacement. It is not necessary to bring the unit back to the store. When calling, please reference the parts list found in the Instruction Manual to help us accurately identify the missing parts and promptly provide replacements. We will replace the unit file of charge should it become defective under this warranty, providing you, the original purchaser, have your original dated sales receipt.

To obtain warranty service or replacement within the one-year warranty period, please return the product with all parts and accessories along with your original dated store receipt to the original place of purchase and the unit will be exchanged at no charge. It is not necessary to contact the manufacturer for warranty replacement. This warranty applies only under conditions of normal use. Our products are not intended for outdoor use. There are no consumer serviceable parts contained in this product and any attempt by the owner lo service or repair the unit will immediately void all warranty coverage. This warranty does not cover any product which has been subject to damage due to an act of nature, misuse, neglect, accident, abuse, commercial use, or modification of, or lo, any part of the product. Damage to any external media such as USB or other memory devices, as well as any connected devices such as Televisions, DVD Players, etc. are not covered nor is the cost incurred in shipping the unit for warranty repair or exchange. Under no circumstances shall VIDAO be liable for any loss (direct, indirect, incidental, foreseen, unforeseen, special, or consequential) or for any damage arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this product
