Product Information

The Signagel Electrode Gel is a non-sterile, multipurpose, electrically conductive, water-soluble, non-staining, non-gritty electrode gel. It is bacteriostatic and recommended for all electromedical procedures including ECG, defibrillation, biofeedback, and EMG. The gel is non-flammable and non- corrosive. It does not contain parabens.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Refer to the Instructions For Use provided by the manufacturer of the electromedical device being used for information on how Signagel should be used with their product.
  2. Signagel is water soluble and can be removed using a moistened soft cloth.

Description
Signagel Electrode Gel is a non-sterile, multipurpose, electrically conductive, water-soluble, non-staining, non-gritty electrode gel. It is bacteriostatic.

Indications for Use
Signagel is recommended for all electromedical procedures including ECG, defibrillation, biofeedback and EMG.

Warnings

  • Do not use on patients with a known history of skin allergies to parabens.

Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the EU Member State in which the user and/or patient is established.

Precautions

  • For external use only on intact, unbroken skin.
  • Discard product if package is damaged or evidence of contamination is present.
  • To avoid contamination of product, the tube container tips should not come into contact with patient, staff or instruments.
