HD-N02 Full Face Helmet
Product Information
The Boom! Audio HD-N02 is a wireless headset designed for use
with motorcycles. It features a range of functions including
Bluetooth pairing, volume adjustment, intercom communication, and
firmware upgrades. The headset has a power button, volume buttons,
and a center button for navigation. It also has LED indicators to
display charging status and device pairing.
Product Usage Instructions

Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 1
second to turn on or off the headset. -
Volume Adjustment: Tap the volume buttons to adjust the
volume level. -
Bluetooth Pairing: To pair with a Bluetooth-enabled
device such as a phone, MP3 player, or GPS, follow these steps: -
On the Boom! Box radio, go to Home > Setup > Wireless
Headset Setup > Pair Rider and select the Boom! Audio N02. -
Press the center button 10 times to enter the configuration
menu. -
Select “Bluetooth Pairing” and tap the center button.

Select “Boom! Audio N02” and tap the center button.

Enter the PIN “0000” and tap the center button to complete the
pairing process. -
Intercom Communication: The headset supports both Open
Mesh and Group Mesh intercom modes. To start or end an intercom
conversation with friends or group members, follow these steps: -
For Open Mesh Intercom:
* Tap the mesh intercom button once to turn on or off the mesh
intercom.
* To communicate with friends, tap the button according to the
number of the friend (e.g., tap once for the 1st friend, double-tap
for the 2nd friend, triple-tap for the 3rd friend).
2. For Group Mesh Intercom:
* To create a group mesh, enter the mesh grouping menu with two
or more open mesh users and follow the on-screen instructions.
* To join an existing group mesh, one of the current members and
a new member should enter the mesh grouping menu and follow the
instructions.

Channel Setting: If there is interference in the open
mesh communication, you can change the channel. Follow these steps: -
Double tap the center button to enter the channel setting.

Navigate between channels using the volume buttons.

Save the selected channel by tapping the center button.

To exit the channel setting, tap either the plus (+) or minus
(-) button until you hear a voice prompt saying “Exit,” then tap
the center button.
Note: It is recommended to upgrade the firmware of the
Boom! Audio HD-N02 to the latest version if there is no
communication in mesh or group mesh modes.

Note: Open Mesh and Group Mesh cannot communicate with the previous modes
Public Mode and Private Mode. In case of no communication, the Boom! Audio
HD-N02 should be upgraded to the latest firmware.
Mesh Intercom Open MeshTM
When Mesh Intercom is enabled, the Boom! Audio HD-N02 will be in Open Mesh
(default: channel 1) initially. Users can freely communicate with each other
in the same Open Mesh channel.

Channel Setting (Default: channel 1)
If the Open Mesh communication experiences interference because other groups
are also using channel 1 (default), change the channel. You can select from
channels 1 to 9. 1. Enter into the Channel Setting.

Mesh Intercom Group MeshTM
Group Mesh is a closed group intercom function that allows users to join,
leave, or rejoin a group intercom conversation without pairing each Boom!
Audio HDN02. Up to 24 users can all be connected in each private group.
Creating a Group Mesh
Creating a Group Mesh requires two or more Open Mesh users.

Setting
Using the Boom Audio Bluetooth Device Manager
The Device Manager allows you to upgrade the firmware and configure the device
settings directly from your PC. Using this software, you can assign speed dial
presets, FM radio frequency presets and more. It is available to download for
both Windows and Mac. For more information on downloading the Device Manager,
please visit www.H-D.com/infotainment-support.
Using the Sena Motorcycles App
The Sena Motorcycles App allows you to configure the device settings, create
groups of intercom friends, and view the quick start guide. Simply pair your
phone with your Boom! Audio HD-N02, run the Sena Motorcycles App and you can
configure its settings directly from your smartphone. You can download the
Sena Motorcycles App for Android or iPhone from Google Play Store or App
Store.
