SPECIFIER STATEMENT

Specified slicer will be an NSF rated medium duty manual EDGE slicer with a 14″ diameter chrome-plated carbon steel knife and a Poly-V belt drive system. Slicer offers a removable carriage system, a top-mounted, removable ceramic stone sharp-ener and a permanently mounted ring guard. Features a 1⁄2 HP motor, 1 speed and no-volt release. Base is constructed from sanitary anod- ized aluminum to limit crevices and allow for easy clean up.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure the slicer is placed on a stable and level surface.
  2. Plug the attached cord into a grounded receptacle with the appropriate voltage (120/60/1).
  3. To start the slicer, press the START button. To stop, press the STOP button.
  4. Adjust the slice thickness by using the precision system. Turn the index knob to select the desired thickness ranging from tissue to 9/16 or 14mm.
  5. Place the food to be sliced on the carriage, making sure it fits within the cutting capacity of 11.0 wide by 8.5 high or 8.5 diameter.
  6. Use the removable meat grip with the contoured handle to securely hold the food during slicing. The meat grip is rear-mounted and can be removed when not in use.
  7. If the knife edge becomes dull, use the top-mounted ceramic stone sharpener. Simply activate the sharpener, and it will sharpen and hone the knife in 15 seconds. The sharpener is removable and submersible for easy cleaning and sanitation.
  8. For thorough cleaning, remove the carriage system and product deflector. The carriage has 11.5 manual travel for easy removal. The anodized aluminum carriage and knife cover provide maximum sanitation and minimal clean-up time.
  9. In case of a power loss, the slicer has a no-volt release feature. The slicer must be restarted before operation can continue.
  10. Always ensure the permanently mounted ring guard is in place to protect the knife during operation and cleaning.
