care, your lighting will provide you with years of use.
Product Usage Instructions
Please read all instructions completely before installing your lighting. It is recommended to contact a licensed electrical contractor for installation.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury:
- Turn off/unplug lamp and allow it to cool before replacing the bulb.
- Do not touch the bulb when the fixture is turned on.
- Do not look directly at the lighted bulb.
- Keep materials that burn easily away from the lighted bulb.
CLEANING: Use only a soft cloth to dust and clean the fixture.
Never use chemicals or abrasive cleaners as it may damage the finish.
Installation Instructions
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electrical shock, be sure to shut off power while installing or servicing this fixture.
NOTE: We advise calling a qualified electrician when making the wire connections to the junction box.
WARNING:
- Shut off the power to the area where you will be working.
- Use a maximum 60 Watts type B bulb.
- Do not use polish or cleaner on your fixture, just wipe with a soft cloth as needed.
NOTE: FOR HARDWIRE INSTALLATION, WE ADVISE CALLING A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN WHEN MAKING THE WIRE CONNECTIONS TO THE JUNCTION BOX.
Portable Wire Installation:
NOTE: Cut off the fixture copper ground wire.
CAUTION:
- DO NOT install on a radiant heating ceiling.
- The hooks are to engage the chain only and not the electrical wire.
FOR PLASTER OR PLASTER BOARD CEILINGS:
- Drill a hole in the ceiling to the same diameter as the closed flaps of the included toggle bolt assembly (A).
- Insert flaps and bolt into the ceiling with the toggle bolt protruding through the ceiling, lock the assembly by threading on the hook as shown.
- Drape your chain to the second hook or let it hang straight.
FOR WOOD OR ACOUSTIC BOARD CEILINGS – MINIMUM THICKNESS IS 1-1/2 INCH:
- Select a place on the ceiling where a wood beam exists.
- Thread the steel screw (B) into hook (C).
- Screw the assembly into the wood beam.
- Drape your chain to the second hook or let it hang straight.
HOOK THE CHANDELIER ASSEMBLY TO THE CHAIN:
- Open the lock link (K1) provided, connect it to the fixture loop (J) and chain link, and close the lock link (K1).
- One chain and wire are arranged, plug the wire plug into a household electrical outlet.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
This portable fixture has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an
extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to
disable this safety feature.

STEP 1 – Unpack
- Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clean surface.
STEP 2 – Assembly
- Install E26 bulb into the socket (BULB NOT INCLUDED).
There are 2 ways to install this chandelier:
- Portable Wire – STEP 3
- Hardwire – STEP 4

FIXED WIRE INSTALLATION
NOTE: IT IS ADVISED TO CONTACT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN FOR THIS STEP.

Thread nipple (C) into loop (F) until snug.

Thread other end of nipple (C) with loop attached into crossbar (D) until snug.

Place lock washer (B) over end of nipple protruding through crossbar and thread the thread hex nut (A) onto nipple until tight.

Take this crossbar assembly and mount to ceiling junction box with junction box threads (E), tighten thread securely with screwdriver.

Open the lock link (K1) provided, connect to the fixture loop (J) and chain link and close the lock link (K1).

Lace the fixture wires through the chain. Slip loop collar (H) over the chain. Then do the same with the canopy (G).

Open the end link (K) of the chain and hand the fixture on the loop (F) and close the link (K).

Cut the wire plug off, feed the fixture wires through the loop (F) and nipple (C) and pull until taut.

Connect fixture wire to the wire from the junction box with wire connectors as below.
WIRE CONNECTION: -
Connect smooth wire to the black house wire with wire connectors.

Ribbed wire to the white house wire with wire connectors.

Fixture ground wire to the supply ground wire with wire connectors or the fixture ground wire from the fixture to the green ground screw on the mounting bracket.

Push canopy (G) up against ceiling and secure with loop collar (H).
Install the bulb(s) into the socket. BULB(S) NOT INCLUDED
Installation is now complete. Turn on power.
1-Year Limited Warranty
“Limited” Warranty Program
For a period of one (1) year after purchase, Hanover Products (“Manufacturer”)
will either repair or replace defective components in accordance with this
Limited Warranty.
Sales and use taxes, plus shipping and handling charges are the responsibility
of the consumer.
This warranty is between Manufacturer and the original purchaser and is valid
only when accompanied by the original purchaser’s sales receipt showing
original date of purchase and location of purchase. Replacements under this
warranty revert back to the date of original purchase for future warranty.
Manufacturer or its authorized dealer can accept or reject warranty claims
based on its findings. This warranty applies in normal residential use only,
where an issue with the product is due to a defect in material or workmanship.
Manufacturer can make substitutions as required of materials, components, and
sub-components of comparable value and utility. This warranty is limited to
product repair or replacement (to be determined solely by Manufacturer).
Warranty return is limited to only the single affected component.
This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover normal wear
and tear, abuse or misuse, including: water damage, chemical damage, exposure
to extreme heat or cold or abrasion. This warranty is invalid if the product
is not used for intended purpose. Manufacturer disclaims liability for any
aspect of installation and any inconvenience caused by a defective part of a
component.
Certain items are not covered by this warranty. These include, but are not limited to the following:
- Components subjected to abuse, including abuse intended to simulate failure.
- Damages caused by retailer, shipper or installation crew (such as scratches, dents, tears, breaks, etc.).
- Any part which merely exhibits normal wear yet functions essentially as new.
To make a claim, send a copy of the original sales receipt along with a brief
description of the problem to the email address below.
Please include your email address and daytime telephone or cell phone #. All
items will be charged actual freight costs plus $15 for handling. Repairs or
replacement will be made at the Manufacturer’s option.
THIS IS THE ENTIRE EXCLUSIVE EXPRESS LIMITED LIABILITY. THE MANUFACTURER
NEITHER MAKES NOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING THOSE OF RETAILING DEALERS. THIS EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS
LIMITED TO RECEIPT OF A CREDIT IN CONNECTION WITH THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF
ANY PRODUCT OR COMPONENT DEEMED TO BE DEFECTIVE UNDER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
AS STATED IN THIS WARRANTY. NEITHER AF LIGHTING, THE PRODUCT MANUFACTURER NOR
ITS AGENTS SHALL BE LIABLE IN ANY CASE FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR ARISING OUT OF
ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR NEGLIGENCE EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE MAY BE REQUIRED BY LAW, THERE
ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED
HEREIN, AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
