Safety
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to the worksite and the product.
- Always unroll the reel completely.
- Keep the working environment clear.
- Comply with the rules for using equipment and products.
Product
- Make sure the product can be mechanized.
- Always check the technical data sheet on the manufacturer’s website.
- Check that the grain size of the product matches the pump fitted to the machine.
- Check that the machine is suitable for the product.
- Follow the product manufacturer’s recommendations: dosage, thickness of application, etc.
- Never store bags directly on the ground, but always on a pallet.
Machine
- Make sure you have the necessary electrical power.
- Carry out maintenance as indicated in the user manual.
- Level the machine.
- Always test the machine with water before applying the product.
- Always lubricate the water hose and drain the water from the hose.
- Make sure there is always product in the machine.
- Do not exceed the recommended hose lengths.
- If working at height, do not make a sharp bend at the machine outlet.
- If the hose passes through a window, ensure that it is not pinched by the window.
Environment
- Make sure there is an area where the machine can be cleaned.
- Do not dump bags or buckets in the natural environment, but use the appropriate services (waste collection centres, etc.).
- Prefer eco-responsible products.
- Put protection under the machine (polyane) to avoid getting product on the ground.
- At the end of its life, dispose of or recycle the equipment through an approved organisation.
