ELECTRIC FAN – INSTRUCTION MANUAL
SF 1046
Read this manual carefully before running this appliance and save it for reference in order to obtain the best results and ensure safe use.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
- WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
- If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent.
- Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
- Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
- Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.
- This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.
- This appliance is for household use only .

Specific safeguards
- Never insert fingers, pencils or any other object through the grille when fan is running.
- Disconnect the plug when moving from one location to another.
- Disconnect plug when removing grilles for cleaning.
- Be sure fan is on a stable, even surface when operating to avoid overturning.
- DO NOT use fan in window. Rain may create an electrical hazard. Do not leave the fan operating adjacent to an area where water has been collected to avoid the potential of electrical hazard.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.
- Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
- Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have a faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer or by our customer service.
- Use only original spare parts.
MOUNTING

Assembly of the fan body
STEP 1: Remove the fan blade locknut from the motor assembly by turning it clockwise. Remove the rear grill locknut by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it away from the main fan unit.
STEP 2 – Place the rear grill onto the shaft of the motor assembly, making sure it lines up with the top and bottom plastic pin, then add the rear grill lock nut, turning it clockwise to secure it in position.
STEP 3: Position and push the fan blade onto the motor assembly shaft, then fit the locking screw and turn counterclockwise until the fan blade locks into position.
STEP 4: Attach the front grill to the rear grill using the retaining ring. To do this, place the ring on one of the racks, matching the inner hole of the ring with the edge of the rack and then join the two racks in the same way. In the QR you can see an example of how to mount the grill. -
Assembly of the base
STEP 1: Insert the Adjustable Base Post through the hole in the base.
STEP 2: While holding the base post in place, flip it over and place the washer on the bottom of the adjustable base post.
STEP 3: Secure the base and washer in position by inserting the base locking screw and turning it clockwise.
STEP 4: Insert the lower trim through the post, for this you must momentarily remove the thread that fixes the height of the fan. -
Fixing the fan body to the base
STEP 1: Loosen the height adjustment knob by turning it counterclockwise, then remove the inner post from the adjustable base.
STEP 2: When the post is at the desired height, tighten the knob by turning it clockwise to secure the post in position.
STEP 3: Loosen the locking screw on the fan body by turning it counterclockwise, then place the body on the base post.
STEP 4: Carefully turn the locking screw clockwise to lock the fan body in position.
Note: If the base post cannot be fully inserted, loosen the main unit lock screw further.
Be careful not to overtighten the height adjustment knob and lock screw on the main unit, as this may damage the fan.
Instructions for use
Before connecting to electrical power, place the fan on a flat, stable surface, leaving enough distance between the fan and any objects that could be damaged or caught in the fan’s rotating blades.
- Plug in and turn on the fan.
- Press button 1, 2 or 3 to select the fan speed. If you do not want to activate the timer, make sure the rotary button is in the “ON” position.
- Push/pull the engine rocker rod. The fan will start/stop oscillation.
- Timer function. Adjust the time with the rotary knob turning clockwise.
- Press the 0 button to turn off the fan
Caution: Do not cover the head of the fan when it is in operation.
The fan must be turned off before making an incline adjustment. Take care not
to tilt the fan head back beyond its intended limit, as doing so will damage
the fan head.
DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed
of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be
collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the
materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the
environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you
of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be
separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or
retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old
appliance.
