FAGERHULT 86503 Organic Response Sky Light Sensor and Double Dynamic
Lighting
Product Information
The Organic Response Sky Light sensor is a component of the Organic Response system that enables full Double Dynamic Lighting (DDL) in DDL Ready luminaries. It measures the light from the sky and connects to the Organic Response wireless mesh network. The data is sent to the cloud for processing, and a light scene is triggered on the DDL-ready luminaries in the building. This control solution automatically adjusts the lighting based on the outdoor sky’s light, providing research-based lighting above workstations.
Product Usage Instructions
Placement of Sky Light Sensor
The Sky Light sensor (model 86503) should be placed on the windowsill, preferably facing south. To ensure an optimal angle for measuring light coming through the window, use the included bracket to position the sensor.
Connecting to Organic Response Wireless Mesh Network:
The Sky Light sensor automatically connects to the Organic Response wireless mesh network. No additional setup is required.
Data Processing and Light Scene Triggering:
Once the data from the Sky Light sensor is collected, it is sent to the cloud for processing. After processing, a light scene is triggered on the DDL-ready luminaries in the building, adjusting the lighting based on the outdoor sky’s light.
Mapping on Organic Response Portal:
It is important to map the Sky Light sensor to the correct building on the
Organic Response portal, along with the DDL-ready luminaries. Instructions for
mapping can be found in the Organic Response portal manual on Fagerhult’s
website:
