BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Remove the battery cover at the back of the appliance.
  • Place two AAA-size batteries and replace the battery cover.
  • Select the brush you want to clean and determine what type of makeup is on the brush; water-soluble or non-soluble.
  • Select the right size fitting collar and push the brush in until it is held firm and straight. Remove the collar and brush from the base.

USE

  • Push the spindle in the square hole at the bottom of the collar. Click the other end into the makeup brush cleaner. Check if the spindle, collar and brush are in a straight line. Adjust the brush if necessary. Any slight leaning will affect the ability of the device to clean and dry.
  • Fill the bowl:
  • For water-soluble makeup: Fill the bowl with water and a small amount of soap until the water level is half the height of the brush bristles you want to clean. If you are unsure if the makeup is water-soluble or not, please try this step first.
  • For non-soluble makeup: Add 10-20ml of makeup brush cleanser (depending on the brush size) into to bowl. Ensure the solution level is less than half the height of the brush bristles you want to clean.
  • To prevent damage to the device, make sure the metal part cannot be in contact with the liquids.
  • Gently press the brush down into the bowl and switch on the device. The brush will start to spin rapidly. Slowly move the brush up and down the bowl for 30 to 45 seconds, keeping the brush in the liquid at all times. If the brush or collar is not aligned straight it might start to wobble at this point. Switch off the device and make sure the brush, collar and spindle are aligned.
  • After 30 to 45 seconds, gently lift the brush out of the liquid, but keep inside the bowl, and leave it to spin above the liquid level.
  • Leave the brush spinning for about 30 seconds, then switch the device off.
  • Repeat this step if you would like the brush to be drier.
  • WARNING: Do not over-spin as this may damage the brush. We advise you not to spin dry continuously for more than 45 seconds at a time. Then check the brush and repeat when it’s too wet.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Detach the spindle from the device and the collar from the spindle.
  • Remove the brush from the collar.
  • Put the collar back on the base.
  • Remove the ring from the bowl, then wash the bowl and ring by hand with soap and water.
  • WARNING: Do not immerse the makeup brush cleaner in the water! Use a damp cloth to clean it.
