Kit contents: 3 rear door trim covers, hardware pack, Jelly beans.
Thie parts in this kit are bigger than they need to be on purpose. Because every builder is unique we have made the parts longer on the wall side so you can cut them to fit your particular wall and ceiling thickness.
Notes on cutting ABS plastic:
ABS plastic can be scored with a box knife multiple times and it will break on
the score. It can also be cut with traditional saws. Bandsaws work well, Jig
saws also.
Edges can be sanded or filed. We also suggest de-burring freshly cut edges
prior to covering in upholstery.
We include 10 M6 rivnuts in the kit. 4 of them are used on the ceiling cap area. Drill out the factory holes to 9mm using the supplied drill bit.
Uprights: 2 of the existing holes in the sheet metal are pre-threaded with M8
nuts.
Look at our upright parts and you can match where the supplied rivnuts will
go. Drill out the factory holes and set the rivnuts.
