READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE USING THE DEVICE AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
SPECIFICATIONS

- Uses one Lithium lon, 3.7 V c.d., 600 mAh rechargeable battery (included).
THE FIRST TIME TH SOLAR LIGHT IS TO BE USED
- Remove the protective film from the solar panel if it is covered.
- Turn the AUTO/OFF switch on the back of the unit to the OFF position. Place the solar light in a location where it can receive direct sunlight for 48 hours to allow the rechargeable battery to reach its full capacity.
INSTALLATION OF THE SOLAR LIGHT
- Locate a wall or a flat surface where you want to place the solar light.
- Drill a hole on the surface. The hole should be of a size that allows the plastic plug (C) to be inserted. Insert the plug into the hole.
- Insert screw (B) into plastic plug (C), leaving approx. 5.2 mm (13/64″) off the surface.
- Attach the solar light (A) to the surface by hooking the oblong hole on the back of the body onto the screw installed in the previous step.
PASSIVE INFRARED MOTION SENSOR (PIR)
Vertical and horizontal detection range of 90° and up to 5 meters
- One white LED that is automatically activated at night and remains on constantly.
- One extra white LED of 0.33 W activates with the movement detection.
PLACEMENT OF THE SOLAR LIGHT
The solar light includes a photocell that detects the level of natural light
around it and controls when the solar light turns ON and OFF. To place several
solar lights, they should be placed with a separation of 1.5 meters between
each one and far from other sources of night light. This allows the solar
lights to be turned on at dusk. Solar lights should be placed in a location
where they receive the maximum amount of sunlight each day.
TROUBLESHOOTING
In the event that the solar light does not turn on at dusk after the battery has been charged during the day:
- Confirm that the solar light is in a place where it receives sunlight and not in a shaded area.
- Check that the solar light photo cell is not affected by other light sources during the night.
- Check that the ON/OFF switch (AUTO/OFF) is in the ON position (AUTO).
- Check that the battery is making contact with the terminal and that you have installed the polarity correctly.
BATTERY CHANGE
NOTE.
This operation should be performed in the morning, on a sunny day.
- Remove the body of the solar light and place it downwards.
- Using a small screwdriver, remove the 5 screws that hold the stainless steel base to the plastic housing of the solar light.
- Remove the plastic cover from the front section of the solar light to reveal the battery compartment.
- Remove the used battery and replace with a new 3.7 V Lithium Ion rechargeable battery.
- Insert the battery in the correct direction.
- Replace the plastic cover on the front section of the solar light, taking care to align the rubber cover on/off (AUTO / OFF) with the AUTO/OFF button inside the battery compartment. Press the cover until it goes into place.
- Re-attach the stainless-steel base to the plastic housing and screw the 5 screws.
- Fully charge the battery by repeating the steps indicated in the “First time using the solar light ” section (USE ONLY RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES).
- Clean the battery contacts before install it.
- Confirm that the battery is installed correctly with the polarity (+) and (-)
MAINTENANCE
- To clean, wash with a soft, damp cloth.
ATTENTION
- Although the unit can remain outside during the winter months it is recommended to store it indoors when the temperature is below 0 °C
- The operation time is reduced during the winter months due to the lack of sunlight and the seasonal position of the sun.
- Failure to insert the battery with the polarity indicated in the battery compartment may shorten the battery life or cause the battery to explode or leak.
- This product works only with 3.7 V Lithium lon rechargeable batteries. Do not attempt to use this product with another battery.
- The battery should be recycled or disposed of according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Remove the battery if it is exhausted or if the product will not be used for extended periods.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
