GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY

Training

• Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar with the controls and the correct use of the machine.
• Never allow children, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the machine, local regulations may restrict the age of the operator.
• Never operate the machine while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.
• Keep in mind, that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property.

Preparation

• While operating the machine, always wear substantial footwear and long trousers. Do not operate the machine when barefoot or wearing open sandals. Avoid wearing clothing that is loose fitting or that has hanging cords or ties.
• Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that can be drawn into the air inlet. Keep long hair away from the air inlets.
• Obtain ear protection and safety glasses. Wear them at all times while operating the machine.
• Operate the machine in a recommended position and only on a firm, level surface.
• Do not operate the machine on a paved or gravel surface where ejected material could cause injury.
• Before using, always visually inspect to see, that the impeller and other fasteners are secure, the housing is undamaged and that guards and screens are in place. Replace worn or damaged components in sets to preserve balance. Replace damaged or unreadable labels.
• Before starting the machine, make certain that the feeding chamber is empty.
• Keep your face and body away from the tube nozzle.
• Do not allow hands or any other part of the body or clothing inside the tube, or near any moving part.
• Keep proper balance and footing at all times. Do not overreach. Never stand at a higher level than the base of the machine when feeding material into it.
• Always stand clear of the discharge zone when operating this machine.
• When feeding material into the machine be extremely careful that pieces of metal, rocks, bottles, cans or other foreign objects are not included.
• If the impeller strikes any foreign objects or if the machine should start making any unusual noise or vibration, immediately shut off the power source and allow the machine to stop. Remove the battery pack from the machine and take the following steps before restarting and operating the machine:
  • inspect for damage;
  • replace or repair any damaged parts;
  • check for and tighten any loose parts.
• Do not allow processed material to build up in the discharge zone; this may prevent proper discharge and can result in kickback of material through the intake opening.
• If the machine becomes clogged, shut-off the power source and remove the battery pack from the machine before cleaning debris.
• Never operate the machine with defective guards or shields, or without safety devices, for example
• Keep the power source clean of debris and other accumulations to prevent damage to the power source or possible fire.
• Do not transport this machine while the power source is running.
• Always disconnect the machine from the power supply (e.g. remove the battery pack from the machine).Make sure that all moving parts have come to a complete stop
  • whenever you leave the machine,
  • before clearing blockages or unclogging chute,
  • before checking ,cleaning or working on the machine.
• Avoid using the machine in bad weather conditions especially when there is a risk of lightning.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

• When the machine is stopped for servicing, inspection, or storage, or to change an accessory, shut off the power source, disconnect the machine from the supply and make sure that all moving parts are come to a complete stop. Allow the machine to cool before making any inspections, adjustments, etc. Maintain the machine with care and keep it clean.
• Store the machine in a dry place out of the reach of children.
• Always allow the machine to cool before storing.
• Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the appliance is in safe working condition.
• Check the debris collector frequently for wear or deterioration.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for safety .Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories.
• When servicing the shredding means be aware that, even though the power source is switched off due to the interlock feature of the guard, the shredding means can still be moved.
• Never attempt to override the interlocked feature of the guard.
• Switch-off the machine before attaching or removing the bag.

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BATTERY PACK
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shocks, fire and/or serious injury.

• Do not dismantle, open or shred cells or battery pack.
• Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not store battery packs haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short circuit each other or be short-circuited by conductive materials. When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metallic objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
• Do not expose battery packs to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not subject battery packs to mechanical shock.
• In the event of the battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
• Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or battery pack has been swallowed.
• Keep the battery pack clean and dry.
• Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean dry cloth if become dirty.
• Battery packs needs to be charged before use. Always refer to this instruction and use the correct charging procedure.
• Whilst the battery pack is being charge, refrain from any maintenance.
• After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the battery pack several times to obtain maximum performance.
• Battery pack gives its best performance when it is operated at normal room temperature (20 °C ± 5°C).
• When disposing of battery packs, keep battery packs of different electrochemical systems separate from each other.
• Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
• Do not use any battery pack which is not designed for use with the equipment.
• Keep battery pack out of the reach of children.
• Retain the original product literature for future reference.
• Remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.
• Dispose of the battery properly.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Before charging, read the instructions.

• After charging, disconnect the battery and charger from the supply mains. Then remove the chassis connection and then the battery connection.

• Do not charge a leaking battery.

• Do not use chargers for purposes in which they are not designed for.

• Before charging, ensure your charger is matching the local AC supply.

• Charge the battery indoors and use only in dry conditions.

• The charging device must be protected from moisture.

• Do not use the charging device in the open.

• Respect the polarity “+/-“ when charging.

• Do not open the unit and keep out of the reach of children.

• Do not charge the batteries of other manufactures or ill-suited models.

• Ensure that the connection between the battery charger and battery is correctly positioned and is not obstructed by foreign bodies.

• Ensure the slot for the battery charger is clear and unobstructed. Store in a dry and frost-free place to protect against dirt and humidity.

• When charging batteries, ensure that the battery charger is in a well-ventilated area and
  away from inflammable materials. Batteries can heat up quickly whilst charging. Ensure that batteries and chargers are not left unsupervised during charging.

• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as they can overheat and break.

• Longer life and better performance can be obtained if the battery pack is charged when the air temperature is between 18°C and 24°C. Do not charge the battery pack in air temperatures below 0°C, or above 50°C.This is important as it can prevent serious damage to the battery pack.

• Charge only the battery pack of the same model provided by the manufacturer and those of models recommended by the manufacturer.

INTEND USE

• This device is suited solely for the vacuuming and blowing of light and dry materials such as leaves, garden waste, grass, small branches, and small pieces of paper. The device is intended for private use on private land only.

• This product is not intended for commercial use. Generally acknowledged accident prevention regulations and enclosed safety instructions must be observed.

• Only perform work described in these instructions for use. Any other use is improper. The manufacturer will not assume responsibility for damage resulting from such use.
  WARNING! When the equipment is used in vacuum mode, the material will be shredded by an integrated shredder before it is deposited in the catch bag.

ASSEMBLY

• WARNING!
  To avoid serious personal injury, read and understand all safety instructions provided.

• WARNING!
  Do not insert batteries until assembly is complete. Failure to comply could result in accidental starting and possible serious personal injury.

• WARNING!
  Before performing any maintenance, make sure the batteries are removed from the tool. Failure to heed this warning could result in serious personal injury.

• WARNING!
  To prevent serious personal injury, make sure the switch is in the OFF (O) position, the batteries
  are disconnected and the impeller has come to a complete stop before attaching or removing tubes.

Assembly for blower mode

1. Push the front blower tube firmly into the rear blower tube until the tubes ‘click’ into place.(Fig. 1)

2. Slide the blower tube units forward until the notched areas on the motor housing tube lock into the slots on the tube units as shown in Fig. 2.
   NOTE: Blower tube must be assembled to the motor housing before use. Never operate without tube assembled.

3. Before using the blower function, securely fasten the inlet cover over the air inlet by closing the inlet cover until the lock button clicks and locks (Fig. 3).

4. To remove the blower tube, turn the ON/OFF power switch to the OFF (O) position and remove both the batteries.

5. Press the tube release button and remove the blower tube (Fig. 4).

Assembly for Vacuum mode

1. Slide the front and rear vacuum tubes together until the locking tabs on both sides engages (Fig. 5).

2. Press inlet cover lock button forward to disengage the inlet cover. Hold the cover open (Fig. 6).

3. With the blower tube removed, insert the “wedged” end of the vacuum tube into the slot on the unit. Securely fasten the vacuum tube by pushing the 2 tabs on the vacuum tube until they snap into the holes on the housing (Fig. 7).

4. insert the collection bag adaptor into the air outlet until the collection bag is securely fastened, then clip the bag to the strap holder (Fig. 8). Simply press the tube release button to remove the bag (Fig. 9).

5. To remove the vacuum/mulcher tube assembly, press the inlet cover lock button to unlock, then remove the tube assembly from its housing (Fig. 10).
   NOTE: It may be necessary to remove the blower tubes or vacuum/mulcher tubes to clear a blocked tube or impeller. Make sure to remove the batteries before attempting to clear any obstructions.

6. Clip the shoulder support strap to the strap hook on the top of the blower, as shown (in Fig. 11. ).

PREPARE

Checking battery capacity
Press the battery capacity level button to check the charging level of the battery pack. The status / remaining charge will be shown on the battery charging level indication light.(Fig.13)

Charge the battery pack before operating when it is at medium or low battery charging level.

Charging the battery pack
NOTE: The battery pack comes partly charged. Charge the battery pack prior to first use, ideally at least 60 minutes.

• Always pull out the plug of charger from the mains before removing or connecting the battery pack to the charger.
• Never charge the battery pack when the ambient temperature is below 5 °C or above 40°C.
• Never recharge a battery pack again immediately after rapid charging. This could overcharge the battery pack, thus reducing the lifespan of the battery pack and charger.
• Rest the charger for at least 15 minutes between continuous charging sessions. If no battery pack is inserted into the charger and the charger is connected to mains, the charging status LED shows red.

PREPARE

1. Connect the battery pack to the battery charger.
2. Insert the mains plug into the socket. The green charging status LED light will flash. Once the battery pack is completely charged, the green charging status LED is lit continuously, indicating that the charging process is complete. (One battery pack fully charged time is approx. 1 hour. Two battery packs together fully charged time is approx. 2 hours.)
3. Disconnect the charger from the mains and remove the battery pack from the charger.
4. Attach the battery pack back to the product.(Fig.14)

Charging status LEDs

Installing or removing battery pack

1. Hold the tool and the battery pack firmly when installing or removing the battery pack. Failure to hold the tool and the battery pack firmly may cause them to slip off your hands and result in damage to the tool and battery pack, potentially causing a personal injury.
2. Always switch off the tool before installing or removing the battery pack.
3. To remove battery pack, press the release button, and pull out. To install the battery pack, align the tongue on the battery pack with the groove in the housing and slip it into place. Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click. If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone around you.（Fig 12）

NOTE!
Do not use force when installing the battery pack. If the battery pack does not slide in easily, it is not being inserted correctly.
WARNING!
Verify that the switch is in the OFF position before inserting or removing the battery pack.
WARNING!
Verify that the battery pack is removed and the switch is in the OFF position before inspecting, adjusting or performing maintenance on any part of the chain saw.
WARNING!
Read, understand and follow the instructions contained in the section entitled charging procedure.

OPERATION

Starting and Stopping

1. To start the cordless blower vac, slide the ON/OFF switch forward to show the ON mark (Fig. 15).
2. To stop the unit, slide the ON/OFF switch backward until the OFF mark appears (Fig. 15).

Speed Control
This unit is equipped with six variable speed settings (1 to 6) (Fig. 16).

• Turn the speed dial to position “1” or “2” for LOW speeds.
• Turn the speed dial to position “3” or “4” for MEDIUM speeds.
• Turn the speed dial to position “5” or “6” for HIGH speeds.

Operating Tips

WARNING! Use the blower vac only in daylight or good artificial light.

• When using the blower vac, plant your feet firmly on the ground and place one hand on the unit handle and the other hand on the auxiliary handle.

• Wear personal protective equipment during your work session. This includes boots, safety glasses/goggles, ear defenders, long pants and a long-sleeve shirt.

• When using the unit as mulcher, make sure the bag is properly installed and zipped closed.

• Make sure the blower tube nozzle is not directed at anybody or any loose debris before starting the unit.

• Verify that the unit is in good working condition. Make sure the tubes and guards are in place and secure.

• When used as a blower, ensure that the inlet cover is completely closed and locked.

• Keep a firm grip on both the handle and auxiliary handle.

• To reduce the risk of hearing loss associated with sound level(s), hearing protection is required.

• Use the shoulder strap when using the unit as a mulcher/vacuum.

• Operate power equipment only at reasonable hours—not early in the morning or late
  at night when people might be disturbed. Comply with times listed in local ordinances. Usual recommendations are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.

• To reduce noise levels, limit the number of pieces of power equipment used at any one time and operate power blowers at the lowest possible speed setting necessary to do the job.

• Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing.

• In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces.

• Conserve water by using power blowers instead of hoses for many lawn and garden applications, including areas such as gutters, screens, patios, grills, porches and gardens.

• Blow debris into a safe, open area away from children, pets, open windows or freshly washed cars.

• Clean up after using leaf blowers and other lawn equipment. Dispose of debris appropriately.

WARNING! To avoid serious personal injury,wear ear defenders, goggles or safety glasses at all times when operating this unit. Wear a face mask or dust mask in dusty locations.
WARNING! To prevent serious personal injury or damage to the unit, make sure the blower tube or the mulcher tubes and the bag are in place before operating the unit.

Air Vents

Never cover air vents. Keep them free from obstructions and debris. They must always remain clear for proper motor cooling.
WARNING! To avoid serious personal injury, do not wear loose fitting clothing or articles such as scarves, strings, chains, ties, etc., that could get drawn into the air vents.
To make sure long hair does not get drawn into the air vents, tie back long hair.

Blower Mode

• Hold the blower firmly with one hand on the main handle and the other hand on the auxiliary handle. Sweep from side to side with the nozzle several inches above the ground or floor (Fig. 17).
• Slowly advance the unit, keeping the accumulated pile of debris in front of you. Most dry blowing operations are better suited to low speeds rather than high speeds. High speed blowing is best for moving heavier items like large debris or gravel.

Vacuum Mode

• Once you have blown the debris/leaves into a pile, you can convert to vacuum mode to collect the debris.
• With a firm hold on the vac, tilt the mulcher tubes 2 in – 4 in. (5 cm – 10 cm) from the ground and use a sweeping action to collect light debris. The debris will flow into the bag. Items such as small leaves and twigs will be mulched as they pass through the fan housing. For longer bag life and increased performance, empty the bag frequently (Fig. 18).
• As the bag fills, suction power will decrease. When this happens, turn the power switch to the OFF position and remove the batteries. Unzip the bag and empty the debris.
• To remove the bag, press the tube release button (Fig. 9). Turn the bag upside down and shake out any debris and leaves.

WARNING! Never remove the collection bag without first turning the power switch to the OFF position and remove the batteries.
WARNING! Do not use in vacuum/mulcher mode without the vacuum tubes and collection bag in place.

Cleaning debris

WARNING! To avoid serious personal injury, be sure the unit is OFF and remove the batteries before clearing the impeller.
WARNING! To avoid serious personal injury, always wear gloves to protect yourself from the impeller blades or other sharp objects.

During the vacuuming process, certain objects such as cloth, rope or large diameter sticks may obstruct the fan and block the motor. A thermal protection device, which is built into the batteries, will cut off the electricity to the motor to prevent damage from overheating.
In the event an obstruction occurs and power is curtailed:

1. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position until the unit comes to a complete stop.
2. Remove the batteries.
3. Remove the blower tube or vacuum/mulcher tubes and the bag.
4. Using a chute clean-out tool, carefully remove the material blocking the tube or impeller. Inspect to ensure no damage has occurred. Rotate the impeller blades by hand to ensure the blockage is completely cleared.
5. Reinstall the blower tube or vacuum/mulcher tubes and the bag.
6. Wait 3 minutes for the motor to cool.
7. Reinsert the batteries and slide the ON/OFF switch to ON. The blower vac will resume normal function.

MAINTENANCE

Our machines have been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper machine care and regular cleaning.
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the appliance is in safe working condition.
WARNING! Remove the batteries before performing any maintenance task.

Cleaning

WARNING! To avoid serious personal injury, always turn the unit off and remove the batteries before cleaning or servicing. Use a small brush to clean the outside of the unit. Do not use strong detergents, household cleaners that contain aromatic oils (e.g. pine and lemon) or harsh solvents such as kerosene as these substances can damage the plastic housing or the handles. Wipe off any moisture with a soft, dry cloth.

1. Empty the bag after each use to avoid deterioration and obstructing air flow, which will reduce the performance of the mulcher.
2. Wear eye protection and a dust mask. Clean the bag as needed. Turn the bag inside out after initial emptying and vigorously shake out dust and debris.
3. Wash the bag once a year, or more often if needed. Follow the steps below:
4. Remove the bag.
5. Turn the bag inside out.
6. Hang it up.
7. Hose it down thoroughly.
8. Leave it hanging to dry.
9. Turn the bag right-side up and reinstall.

Storage

1. Examine the cordless blower + vacuum +mulcher thoroughly for worn, loose or damaged parts. Should you need to repair or replace a part ,contact the authorized service center for assistance.
2. Remove the batteries from the machine before storing.
3. Store the batteries, charger with the cordless blower + vacuum indoors in a clean, dry and locked location out of the reach of children and animals.

DISPOSAL

Recycling + Disposal
The product comes in a package that protects it against damage during shipping. Keep the package until you are sure that all parts have been delivered and the product is functioning properly. Recycle the package afterwards or keep it for long-term storage. WEEE symbol. Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or local store for recycling regulations.

Battery Caution + Disposal
Always dispose of your battery packs according to federal, state, and local regulations. Contact a recycling agency in your area for recycling locations.

CAUTION! Even discharged battery packs contain some energy. Before disposing, use electrical tape to cover the terminals to prevent the battery packs from shorting, which could cause a fire or explosion.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of injury or explosion, never burn or incinerate a battery pack even if it is damaged, dead or completely discharged. When burned, toxic fumes and materials are emitted into the surrounding atmosphere.

1. Batteries vary according to device. Consult your manual for specific information.
2. Install only new batteries of the same type in your product (where applicable).
3. Failure to insert batteries in the correct polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment or manual, may shorten the life of the batteries or cause batteries to leak.
4. Do not mix old and new batteries.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Unit will not blow or mulch

1. These warranty terms cover additional warranty rights and do not affect your statutory warranty rights. All our products are covered by a 3 year manufacturer warranty.
2. Claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase. This must be in the form of a Sales receipt or bank statement and must show that the product has been purchased within the warranty period as described under point 1, from the retailer that it was originally bought from. Please keep your receipt safe or staple it to the back of this manual for future reference.
3. Our warranty covers problems caused by material or manufacturing defects, and will result in the repair of these defects or replacement of the device with a like for like or similar article.
4. Our devices have not been designed for commercial, trade or industrial applications, any signs of use of the equipment in these application or equivalent activities, invalidates the warranty.
5. The following are also excluded from our warranty:
   • A. Faults due to accidents, customer misuse or unauthorised repairs
   • B. Consumable parts such as batteries, chargers, blades, quick release locks, extension cables, wheels, grass bags and other accessories that are compatible with the product.
   • C. Failure due to lack of routine maintenance.
   • D. Failure as a result of not using the equipment in accordance with the manual and safety instructions
   • E. The adjustment of cables, drive gears, or blades.

Warranty claims should be submitted before the end of the warranty period, see point 1, but a paid service exists for repairs commissioned after this period. The original warranty period remains applicable to the device even if repairs are carried out or parts are replaced.
In such cases, the work performed or parts fitted will not result in an extension of the warranty period, and no new warranty will become active for the work performed or parts fitted.
