OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The fixture comes with a 180° motion sensor and a built in dusk-to-dawn sensor. The dusk-to-dawn sensor disables the motion detector during daylight hours and only allows the motion sensor to activate the light after dark. The security light will not activate during daylight hours regardless of whether it sees motion or not.
OFF-AUTO
In auto mode, the light will be activated in darkness when motion is sensed. Set the sensing distance by adjusting the sensitivity switch when it is in test mode. In off mode, light is turned off.
SENSITIVITY
Rotating this knob clockwise raises the sensitivity of the motion sensor for
up to 40 ft of distance. Rotating the knob counterclockwise lowers the
sensitivity down to as close as 10 ft.
It may be necessary to adjust the knob several times until you find the proper
setting for your particular installation. NOTE: The higher sensitivity level
for longer distance (up to 40 ft) increases the likelihood of false
triggering. For maximum range performance allow the fixture to operate in any
mode (with power) for at least 48 hours.
TIMER
The TIMER setting controls how long the unit remains illuminated following activation & after all motion ceases if the unit is set in AUTOMATIC MODE. The minimum time (fully counterclockwise) is approximately 10 seconds, while the maximum time (fully clockwise) is approximately 3 minutes. Set the control to the desired setting between these limits. In the test mode, the light will come on 5 seconds when motion is sensed regardless of whether it is day or night.
MOTION DETECTION ANGLE
Detects any motion within 180° and detection range is up to 401
