The Hollex Water Pressure System consists of a par diaphrAGM pump mounted on a horizontal kettle with a content of 8 or 24 liters. The kettle is provided with a rubber bellow which contains the water. Between this bellow and the steel kettle, an amount of air is present under pressure. This pressure (measured with no water in the below) has to be 0.1 bar low-The than the engaging pressure of the pump. By standard, this pressure is set to 1.1 bar, whereas the disengage pressure is set to 2.1 bar. connections The suction and pressure sides of the unit are provided with ½” BSP hose connections. The length of the suction hose must be 6 meters or less, taking into account a suction height of 1.5 meters max. The maximum current in amps is indicated on the pump engine. This value determines the wire cross-section and the protection or fuse used for the pump. On the kettle, a pressure switch is mounted (not all types) which has two poles. the red wire is positive and the black wire is negative. Switching the two wires, however, does not damage the pump or lessen its functioning.

Preparation Check whether the voltage of the unit is in concordance with the main voltage of the vessel. Check all con-connections and ensure you have water in the tank. Open all taps and engage the pump. Only if no more
air is out of the taps, can they be closed. Now the pump will the bellow with water. After approximately 1½ minutes the pressure switch will disengage the pump (at a pressure of 2.1 bars). Open one or more taps and wait until the pump engages again. Check the pressure at engaging and disengaging by looking at the press sure-gauge (not all types). Repeat this process several times to rinse the piping and the bellow. Clean the suction Filter and the water pressure unit is ready for use.

Maintenance

  • Check regularly the starting pressure in the kettle with a meter. This May only be performed when no water is present in the bellow, so when all taps are open and the pump has been switched.
  • When too little air is present, the bellow may be torn. Too little air can be noticed because the pump will be engaged too quickly, even when there’s only used a small amount of water.
  • With too much air in the kettle, the pump will only engage when no more water comes out of the taps This can cause the water heater to be disengaged.
  • Make sure there is always enough voltage on the pump. When the voltage is too low, the current will increase, causing the motor to overheat.
  • So, never let the pump run for a long period to prevent overheating.

The Hollex Drinking water supply layer consists of a Par Member pump mounted on a horizontal Pressure tank of 8 or 24 liters. The Tank is equipped with rubber bellows in which the water is kept becomes. Between this brat and the stole Tthanks is a lot of air under pressure. This pressure should be about 0.1 bar lower (measured without W ater in the bellows) because of the switch- on pressure of the pump. default this switch-on pressure is set to 1.1 bar and the cut-out pressure to 2.1 bars. connections The suction and pressure sides of the system are equipped with a ½” G attachment conclusions. The length of the suction line must not be more than 6 meters because the maximum suction height is 1.5 meters may The maximum current in amperes is indicated on the pump motor. This w ert determines the line cross-section and the protection or the Fuse for the pump. The on the T thanks to the mounted pressure switch ter (not all T
open) is double po- lig executed and connected. The red wire is positive and the black death is negative, but if they are exchanged, the system is not damaged.

Put in operation

check if the v layout of the plant coincides with the main span on.  check all connections and make sure it is Water in Thanks.

Open now
all the taps and turn on the pump. only when water without air from the Roosters can flow again getting closed. Now she will Pump W pump water in the bellows and after about 1.5 minutes the pressure switch turns off the pump. Now open one or more taps and wait for the pump to start again switches. control the pressure where turning the pump on or off is used with the T ank mounted Pressure gauge (not all T types). Make this some painting around the wires and flush the rubber bellows. Pure- If necessary, put the suction Filter on the pump is mounted and the Trink anlage is ready for use. maintenance regularly checks the preprint in the tank with a tension meter This may only be carried out will if there is no W ater more in Tank which means when it’s open Tap and pump off. there is not enough air in the T arrival location, the bellows can tear. You can see that there is too little air because then the pump starts too quickly switching, even when using one small amount of water. W close it a lot of air in the tank is located switch on the pump only if none Water flows more from the taps. This allows a hot water attachment turned off. always worry about a reaching tension on the engine. With too low a voltage, the current will be higher, causing the engine to overheat can. Leave the pump too don’t run too long at a time to prevent the engine from closing gets hot.
