RADIO-TV INTERFERENCE

- Clean only with a dry cloth.

Slots and openings in the cabinet back or bottom are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the TV and to protect it from overheating. - All batteries (packed or in use) must not be exposed to high temperatures like heat or fire.

When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over. A TV and cart combination should be moved with a case. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the TV and cart combination to overturn.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time, For added protection for this TV receiver during a lightning storm, or when it is left unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the TV due to lightning and power line surges.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as the power-supply cord or plug is damaged, the liquid has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- This TV should be operated only from the type of power supply indicated on the rating label. If the customer is not sure about the type of power supply in your home, consult your appliance dealer or local power company. For TV remote control battery power, refer to the operating instructions.
- The TV set shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing. No objects filled with liquids, such as vases shall be placed on the TV set.
- Never insert objects of any kind into this TV through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage or other electrical parts that could result in fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind into the TV.
- Unplug the TV from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid or aero cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
- This TV should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat resource. This TV should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer’s instructions have been adhered to.
- Do not place this TV on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The TV may fall, causing serious injury to someone, and serious damage to the appliance.
- Do not attempt to service this TV by yourself because opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous high voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
- WARNING: To prevent injury, this apparatus must be (I securely attached to the floor/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.
- Pushing, pulling, or climbing on the TV may cause the TV to fall. Do not let children climb or hang on the TV. Always place the TV on a sturdy, level, stable surface that can hold the weight of the TV. And if possible, secure the TV according to the instruction below in Figure A. (Note: The fastening components such as screws are not supplied with the TV).
- Wall or Ceiling Mounting – The appliance should be mounted to a wall or ceiling only as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Outdoor Antenna Grounding If an outside antenna is connected to the receiver, be sure the antenna in the system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges.
Section 810 of the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA
No. 70-1984, provides information with respect to the proper grounding of the
mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna
discharge unit, size of grounding connectors, location of antenna discharge
unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for the grounding
electrode.

Note to the CATV system installer: This reminder is provided to call the CATV
system installer’s attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC provides guidelines
for proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall
be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to the point of
cable entry as practical.
Preparation for Your New TV 3
Check Accessories
Check the accessories that are packed with your TV.
Setup TV Table Stand
Please refer to the Quick Start guide to carry out stand installation.
Select TV Location
Select a flat, stable table to place your TV set. Please follow the Safety
Instructions when placing the TV.
Connection and Using
After placing your TV properly, you can connect the TV to the power supply and
cable components. For further information, See Quick Start Guide.
TV Connectors
- HEADPHONE: Connect a 3.5mm headphone for personal audio.
- DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: Connect a coaxial cable for digital audio output.
- AUDIO-IN L: Left audio channel connection. The left audio connector is usually white.
- AUDIO-IN R: Right audio channel connection. The right audio connector is usually red.
- COMPOSITE/Y Pb Pr: Connect a device that has component video jacks, such as a DVD player.
- VGA: Connect a computer to these jacks.
- PC AUDIO IN: Connect the Audio output jack of the PC.
- ANT/CABLE : Connect to receive the signal from your antenna or cable via coaxial cable.
- USB: Connect a USB device, such as a flash disk to access the media function of the TV.
- ARC(Audio Return Channel): Adopted in TV output of digital audio, can be connected to the device supporting ARC, and transmit the TV sound to the device.
- HDMl1,2,3 : (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) It provides an uncompressed digital connection that carries both video and audio data by way of an integrated mini-plug cable.
- HDMI 2.0/HDCP: 2.2 is supported.
TV Buttons / Front Panel
Side Keypad Buttons
If you cannot locate your remote, you can use the side keypad buttons on your TV to operate many TV features
- INPUT: Displays the Source, Select List.
- MENU: Displays the TV, Main Menu.
- CH: Scans up through the channel list. In the TV menu system, it acts like the up arrow on the remote control and can be used to select menu options.
- CH: Scans down through the channel list. In the TV menu system, it acts like the down arrow on the remote control and can be used to select menu options.
- VOL+: Increases the volume. In the TV menu system, it acts like the right arrow on the remote control and can be used to select menu options.
- VOL-: Decreases the volume. In the TV menu system, it acts like the left arrow on the remote control and can be used to select menu options.
- POWER ( C) ): Turns the TV on and off.
Front Panel
Regarding the remote control working distance and angle, please refer to the
Quick Start guide.
Power/Standby
- Indicator: Blue and red dual-color LED.
- It shows red when the TV is turned off and blue when turned on.
- Remote Control Sensor: Remote control IR sensor, receives infrared rays sent by the remote control.
Learning about Remote Control
Remote Control Buttons
- POWER: Turns the TV on and off.
- Mute: Reduces the TV volume to its minimum level. Press again to restore the volume.
- CH.LIST: Display the channel list.
- P-MODE: Switches between the preset picture mode.
- S-MODE: Switches between the preset sound mode.
- EPG: Show Electronic Program Guide.
- SLEEP: Select the sleep timer, after which the TV will shut off automatically.
- ASPECT: Switches between the preset screen size mode.
- FAV: Adds the current channel to your favorite list, or erases the current channel from your favorite list (if this channel is a favorite channel already).
- MTS: Selects the multi-channel television sound.
- JECT: Eject or loads the disk from the DVD module.
- PLAY: Play media files.
- PAUSE: Pause media files.
- STOP: Stop playing.
- FR of FF: Fast review of fast forward.
- PREV or NEXT: Select the previous or next media file.
- DVD-M: Go to the DVD menu with the last function you used.
- SETUP: Press to open the TV settings menu.
- SUB-T: Select the sub-title of the media video file.
- FREEZE: Freeze the current screen frame, and press again to return to normal.
- Jt./T/◄/►: The direction keys.
- OK: Enter and confirm button.
- MENU: The main menu key.
- INPUT: Accesses the available input channels.
- BACK: Return to the previous screen.
- EXIT: Exits the current menu of functions.
- INFO: Press to display the current program information on the screen.
- CC: Select the closed caption.
- VOL+ or VOL-: Increases or decreases the TV volume.
- CH+ or CH-: Scans up or down through the current channel list. Press once to change the channel up or down; press and hold to continue changing channels. Input Digital sub-channel like 11-1. Return to the previous channel.
- NUMBER BUTTONS: Press 0-9 and select a TV channel directly when you are watching TV.
- HDMl1,HDMl2,HDMl3 : Select HDMl1/HDMl2/HDMl3 source input.
Basic Operations
Turning On and Off
Connect the AC cord to power the TV. At this time the TV will enter standby
mode and the power indicator will turn red. Use the Power button( ) on the
side panel of the TV or on the remote control to turn on the TV.
Select Input source
- Press the Input button on the remote control to display the Input source select list.
- Use 1/T arrows to highlight the source you need and press OK to confirm
To exit the OSD menu
- Press the EXIT button. The menu will clear from the screen.
- Press the MENU button repeatedly until the menus disappear.
OSD Menu Operations
PICTURE MENU
- Press the MENU button to display the main menu.
- Press ◄the/► button to select PICTURE in the main menu, it will highlight the first option
PICTURE MODE
Adjust picture mode to change picture appearance.
CONTRAST
Adjust the highlight intensity of the picture, but the Shadow of the picture
is invariable.
BRIGHTNESS
Adjust the visual perception output entire picture, it will affect the
luminousness of the picture.
COLOR
Adjust the saturation of the color based on your own liking
SHARPNESS
Adjust the peaking in the detail of the picture.
COLOR TEMP
Increase or decrease the warm color of the picture personally (Red), and the
cool color(Blue) according to your liking.
BLUE SCREEN
After opening this option if there·s no signal input, the screen turns to
blue.
ADVANCED SETTING
Adjust advanced video features to fine-tune the picture, Set this option
according to your power amplifier. Press the ► button to enter the sub-menu.
ASPECT RATIO
Adjust how the picture fills the screen.
NOISE REDUCTION
Set options to reduce video noise.
DYNAMIC CONTRAST
Automatically adjust picture detail and brightness.
HDMI MODE
Only available in HDMI input. Press ◄/► button to select(Video/Graphic).
AUDIO MENU
Press the MENU button to display the main menu. Press ◄/► button to select
AUDIO in the main menu, it will highlight the second option.
SOUND MODE
Select a sound mode to achieve the ideal sound.
BASS
Control the relative intensity of lower-pitched sound.
BALANCE
Adjust the relative volume of the speaker in a multiple Speaker system.
SURROUND SOUND
Adjust dimensional surround effect on or off
AUTO VOLUME
Set the auto volume control
SPDIF TYPE
Available under DTV channel and HDMI input. Set this option according to your
power amplifier.
MTS
Available under TV input. Configures the multi-track sound
AUDIO LANGUAGE
Select digital TV audio language type.
OSD Menu Operations
VIDEO DESCRIPTION
Audio-narrated description of a TV program’s key visual elements. These
descriptions are inserted into natural pauses in the program’s dialogue. Video
description makes TV programming more accessible to individuals who are blind
or visually impaired.
VOICE GUIDE
Enable or disable the Voice Guide feature.
VOLUME
Set the volume of the Voice Guide.
SPEED
Set the speed of the Voice Guide.
PITCH
Set the pitch of Voice Guide.
TIME MENU
- Press the MENU button to display the main menu.
- Press◄the/► button to select TIME in the main menu, it will highlight the third option.
SLEEP TIMER
Automatically turns off the TV at the designated time.
TIME ZONE
Adjust the global time zone for the TV.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME
Toggles the daylight saving time feature
TIME FORMAT
Adjust the display format of the time.
AUTO CLOCK
Synchronize your TV time to standard time. (Only available under DTV signal)
CLOCK
Set your TV time manually. (Need to turn off the auto clock)
SETUP MENU
- Press the MENU button to display the main menu.
- Press ◄the/► button to select SETUP in the main menu, it will highlight the fourth option
MENU LANGUAGE
Set the language of the TV’s OSD menu.
TRANSPARENCY
Set the transparency of the menu allowing background TV images to show
through.
ZOOM MODE
Select a screen aspect ratio.
NOISE REDUCTION
Set noise reduction of the screen.
ADVANCED
It always stands for the preliminary menu including the Further sub-page menu.
OSD Menu Operations
SOURCE LABEL
Create labels for devices connected to your TV.
CLOSED CAPTION
Set closed caption settings. (Only available under TV and AV inputs)
DCR
Adjust the dynamic contrast ratio.
SETUP WIZARD
Set the first-time installation.
HDMI CEC
Set HDMI CEC-compatible devices.
EDIT SWITCH
Automatically select EDID 2.0(4K) or EDID 1.4(Standard) according to the input
signal.
RESTORE DEFAULT
Change power on options or reset the TV to factory default.
LOCK MENU
Press the MENU button to display the main menu. Press ◄ the / ► button to
select LOCK in the main menu, it will highlight the fifth option. The default
password is “0000”.
SET PASSWORD
Set a new password for the LOCK menu.
SYSTEM LOCK
Lock or unlock the buttons on the TV.
INPUT BLOCK
Block or unblock the input sources. Restrict movies and TV programs by US
ratings.
CANADA
Restrict movies and TV programs by Canadian ratings
AIR/CABLE
Select signal type.
AUTO SCAN
Automatically search for channels.
FAVORITE
Add channels to create a favorite list.
SHOW/HIDE
Show or hide channels in your program list.
CHANNEL NO
Show the channel you are currently on.
CHANNEL LABEL
Create labels for the channels
DTV SIGNAL
Dynamic display of the intensity of the DTV signal always stands for the
strong level of the DTV. Users cannot modify them.
USB Media Play
USB Media Menu
- Before operating the Media menu, Plug in a USB device, then press the SOURCE button.
- Press T / I, button to select Media in the Source menu, then press Enter button to enter.
- Press ◄the I► button to select the option you want to adjust in the main Media menu, then press Enter button to enter.
Photo Menu
- Press ◄/► button to select PHOTO in the main menu, then press Enter button to enter.
- Press ◄/► button to select the drive disk you want to watch, then press Enter button to enter.
- Press ◄/► button to select the return option to back to the previous menu.
- Press ◄ / ► button to select the file you want to watch in the file selecting menu, then press the media button to display the picture.
- Press ◄/► button to select the file folder you want to search in the file selecting menu, then press the red or Enter button on your remote control to enter the sub-menu.
- Press ◄ / ► button to select the file you want to delete in the file select menu, then press the red button on your remote control and press Enter the button to delete files.
Music Menu
- Press ◄/► button to select MUSIC in the main menu, then press Enter button to enter.
- Press menu button to return back to the previous menu and exit the menu to quit.
- Press ◄ / ► button to select the drive disk you want to watch, then press Enter button to enter.
- Press ◄ / ► button to select the file you want to watch in the file selecting menu, then press Enter button to add the file to the playlist and press the media button to display and operate file details.
- When highlighting the option you select, the file information will appear on the right.
USB Media Play
- Press ◄/► button to select the menu at the bottom Press ◄ / ► button to select the menu in you want to run, then press Enter button to operate. the bottom you want to run, then press Enter button to operate.
- Press the Menu button to back to the previous menu and the exit button to quit the entire menu.
- Press the button to hide the menu into the button.
Movie Menu
- Press ◄/► button to select MOVIE in the main menu, then press Enter button to enter.
- Press menu button to return back to the previous menu and exit the menu to quit.
- Press ◄/► button to select the drive disk you want to watch, then press Enter button to enter.
- Press ◄ / ► button to select the return option to back to the previous menu.
- Press ◄I► button to select the file you want to watch in the file selecting menu, then press the media button to display the picture.
- When highlighting the option you select, the file information will appear on the right and the picture will be previewed in the center.
- Press ◄ / ► button to select the menu at the bottom you want to run, then press Enter button to operate.
- Press the Menu button to back to the previous menu and the exit button to quit the entire menu.
Press the T button to hide the menu at the bottom.
Text Menu
- Press ◄ / ► button to select TEXT in the main menu, then press Enter button to enter.
- Press menu button to return back to the previous menu and exit the menu to quit.
- Press ◄/► button to select the drive disk you want to watch, then press Enter button to enter.
Troubleshooting
TV Problems
-
The TV can’t be turned on.
-
Make sure the AC cord is plugged in.
-
Check the wall outlet, and make sure the AC output works normally and standby.
-
Select the System Lock function in the OPTIONS Menu and press OK to uncheck the locking status.
-
No picture or sound but the TV is on and there is a “No Signal” sign on the screen.
-
Are you trying to use an input source with no device connected to it? For using other video/audio devices, make sure the external device works normally first, then press INPUT and choose the right input source.
-
The signal type option may be set incorrectly.
-
The channel may be blank. Try to search the channel again or change to another channel.
-
The sound is fine, but the picture is poor.
-
If you can only get black-and-white pictures from the external device that you’ve connected to your TV, maybe it is due to the video cables is not connected well, or they are connected wrongly. Check the connection stability first,
then check the correctness. -
For AV input, the yellow video cable connects to the yellow Video In jack on the side of your TV. For Component input, the three Y, Pb, Pr video cables (red, blue, and green) should be connected to the corresponding input jacks on
the side of your TV. -
Check the antenna connections. Make sure all of the cables are firmly connected to the TV jack on the side of your TV.

Try adjusting the color features to improve.

There is no sound, but the picture is fine.
-
The sound might be muted. Try pressing the MUTE button to restore sound. For using AV or Component, remember to connect the device’s left and right audio output correctly. The left channel cable is white and the right channel cable is red.
-
Please match the cables and jacks according to their colors.
-
The sound settings may not be set correctly.
-
If your audio source has only one jack or is a (mono) audio source, make sure you have plugged the connection into the Audio In L jack (white) on the TV.
-
The buttons on the side panel don’t work.
-
Unplug the TV from the AC power for 10 minutes and then plug it back. Turn the TV on and try again.
-
The TV turns off unexpectedly.
-
The electronic protection circuit may have been activated because of a power surge. Wait 30 seconds and then turn the TV on again.

If this happens frequently, the voltage in your house may be abnormal. If the other electronic equipment in your home can’t work normally, consult qualified service personnel.

The Remote control doesn’t work.
-
Make sure there is a clear path.
-
The remote may not be aimed directly at the TV.
-
The batteries in the remote may be weak, dead, or installed incorrectly.

Put new batteries in the remote.

No Picture for HDMI 2.0 input

HDMI Cable should meet HDMI 2.0 spec.
