What’s in the box?

- Turner Hastings Liquid Filled Towel Rail/Radiator prefilled with legs and wiring attached
- 4 pcs Wall Flange
- 12 pcs Mounting screw
- 12 pcs Wall plug
- 6 pcs Grub/Set Screw
- 12 pcs Screw Cap Holder
- 12 pcs Screw Cap
- Allen Key
You will also need:
- Cross Head Screwdriver
- Pencil
- Spirit Level
- Tape Measure
- Hammer
- Drill Bits (10mm & 3mm)
- Cordless Drill
- Electrical Supply
Installation
- Adjust the height of your radiator by using a metric ruler.
- Set the location of your radiator as desired, align with the ground by using a spirit level and mark the position of the wall mounting brackets.
- Drill holes (Ø 10 mm) into the spots you have marked.
- Nail the wall plugs (D) in the holes by using a hammer.
- Pass the wall mounting screws (C) through the screw cap holders (F).
- Place your radiator on the wall and screw the mounting brackets all the way into the wall with the help of a screwdriver.
- Attach the screw caps (G) to the screw cap holders (F) on the wall mounting brackets.
- Connect to Main Supply: Ensure the mains power supply is switched off before attempting to carry out any electrical work. The wiring for the rail must be at the bottom right of the rail (The rails cannot be mounted upside down). We recommend the rail is connected to a timer for more efficient control. Connect the towel rail lead to the mains supply in accordance with current electrical regulations and to AS-NZS3000 Wiring Rules.
- Place your radiator into the wall mounting brackets.
- Insert the setscrews (E) into the slots on the mounting brackets and your radiator then tighten the setscrews by using an Allen key (M3).

Safety Information
Turner Hastings Heated Towel Rails should be inspected before installation for
any defects, only then installed and tested by a qualified electrician and in
accordance with current local regulations. WARNING: In order to avoid a hazard
for very young children, this appliance should be installed so that the lowest
heated rail is at least 600 mm above the floor and with a 300mm clearance from
permanent fixture. Where possible the Turner Hastings Heated Towel Rail should
be screwed into studs or battons concealed in the wall.

- Observe and adhere to electrical guidelines AS-NZS3000 Wiring Rules and IP ratings when placing your towel rail in wet areas
- Ensure any timers or switches used are installed in correct zones according to the IP rating of the timer/switch
- Means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules, ensure that your towel rail is connected by a suitably rated RCD circuit
- Do not use the towel rail to hold towels or other articles that have been in contact with oil, petroleum based products or dry cleaning fluids
- This appliance is intended to warm and dry towels and therefore is hot to touch.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not immerse your towel rail in any liquid
Care Information
The finish of your Turner Hastings Heated Towel Rail is hard wearing and easy
to maintain. However any harsh scrubbing, scratching or acid based cleaning
products will damage the surface of your towel rail. Cleaning with a soft
cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning agent will give the best results.
Warranty Information
Turner Hastings covers all its products with a satisfaction guarantee. In
addition, Turner Hastings will supply a replacement product where a fault is
shown to be caused by manufacture, materials or workmanship providing the
goods have been installed correctly and according to installation
instructions. This guarantee does not include removal, freight or installation
costs. Turner Hastings’ products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded
under Australian Consumer Law and you are entitled to a replacement or refund
for a major failure & compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss
or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the
goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a
major failure. All of the Turner Hastings Towel Rails have a 10 year warranty,
the timer has a 2 year warranty and the finish has a 5 year warranty. To use
the warranty, repair or service the customer must provide purchase
invoice/receipt.
If the product develops a fault within the warranty period due to normal wear
and tear, Turner Hastings at its discretion will recognize whether it’s a
faulty product or not. If it is impossible or not economical for the
manufacturer to repair the product, the manufacturer will replace the faulty
product with a new unit of the same model or if there is no stock available of
the same model as the product, the manufacturer will replace the product with
a new unit of a similar size. No responsibility can be taken for altered
dimensions and lining up of existing holes.
The repair service offered within the warranty period only covers the faults
and problems as developed from the manufacturer’s errors. Any damage caused by
improper use or carelessness or incorrect wiring is not covered. Turner
Hastings is not responsible for any monetary loss or injuries caused by
improper use of this product.
