Product Information
The IVAR storage solution is a versatile and customizable systemthat allows you to organize your space according to your needs. The system includes shelves, cabinets, doors, and cross-braces that canbe combined to create the perfect storage solution for your home or office. The IVAR shelves have a maximum load capacity ranging from 18 kg to 50 kg depending on the width and depth of the shelf. The furniture comes with an enclosed safety bracket that should be used to fix the furniture to the wall for stability and safety reasons. The surface of the IVAR storage solution can be treated with oil, wax, varnish, paint, or stain to ensure durability and easy care. The product requires assembly, and all the units come with detailed instructions and shopping lists that can be found on the IKEA website.
Product Usage Instructions
Before assembling the IVAR storage solution, consider your needs and space to create the perfect storage solution. The system can be customized by combining different heights, depths, and adding cabinets and doors. To ensure stability, fit a cross-brace to every other section. When assembling the product, follow the instructions provided in the manual and use the shopping list to ensure you have all the required parts. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home to secure the furniture to the wall with the enclosed safety bracket to prevent tipping over if a child climbs or hangs on it. After assembly, treat the surface of the storage solution with oil, wax, varnish, paint, or stain to ensure durability and easy care. To maintain safety, do not exceed the maximum load capacity of the shelves.

Renewable material (wood). Solid wood – not from intact natural forests. We
have clear requirements for all the wood we use, including a ban on illegally
harvested wood. By 2020, we want all our wood to come from more sustainable
sources, defined as certified or recycled. The material in this product may be
recyclable. Please check the recycling rules in your community and if
recycling facilities exist in your area.
Safety
We recommend you to fix the furniture to the wall with the enclosed safety bracket to prevent it from tipping over if a child climbs or hangs on it. Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home (not included). For higher stability, complete every second section with a cross-brace.

to best use. Start by thinking about your needs and your space. Then, combine
different heights and depths, make use of corners and add the finishing touch
with cabinets and doors. Tired of boxes and things scattered all over your
office? With the IVAR storage system you can quickly organise all the office
supplies in the stock room, paper piles in the desk area and binders in the
archive. You will be surprised at how easy it is to put everything in order.
Drill into the solid wood side units and add hooks. Paint or wax the entire
shelf in a colour you really like. The possibilities are many – even if the
space is limited.

How to build
Start by thinking about what you want to store and the space you have available. For the first section you need two side units, shelves and a cross- brace. E×tend sideways, either at the same height or a different one. For each additional section, you need just one side unit, which you link to the storage solution with shelves or a cabinet. To ensure stability we recommend that you fit a cross-brace to every other section.
