WARNING:
Read the ENTIRE operator’s manual to become familiar with the features of the
product before operating.
Failure to operate the product correctly can result in damage to the product,
and personal property and cause serious injury or even death.
Set-Up
Open shipping carton. Assembly > Unboxing
Remove brackets. Assembly > Remove Shipping Support Brackets.
Add oil. Assembly > Add Engine Oil.
Recommended: 10W-30, up to 20.3 fl. oz. (600 ml) DO NOT overfill.
Move the generator outdoors.
Move the generator to an open, outdoor area. Point exhaust away. Never run a
generator in enclosed areas (e.g., not in the house or garage).
Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. The heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.
Start-Up
Add fuel – Gasoline or Propane (LPG)
Assembly > Add Fuel
FOR GASOLINE OPERATION:
DO NOT USE E15 OR E85
DO NOT plug in any electrical devices.
NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON!
Select Fuel. Operation > Starting the Engine.
Gasoline: Turn the fuel select dial to the “GASOLINE RUN” position.
Propane: Turn the fuel select dial to the “PROPANE RUN” position.
Starting the Engine: Gasoline
Manual Start
- Move the choke lever to the “CHOKE” position.
- Pull the recoil cord.
- Move the choke lever to the “RUN” position.
Starting the Engine: Propane (LPG)
Manual Start
- Open the propane tank valve.
- Move the choke lever to the “CHOKE” position.
- Pull the recoil cord 2-3 times.
- Move the choke lever to the “RUN” position.
- Pull the recoil cord.
Plugin. Operation > Connecting Electrical Loads.
