Product Information

The ST-520-F Full-Automatic Desktop Plane Labeling Machine with Auto Bag Feeder is a product of ZHUONUO WINSKYS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. The machine is designed to automatically label products that are fed through it. It comes with an emergency stop button, conveyor power supply, product sensor, label sensor, touch screen, and auto bag/card feeder.

Product Usage

Emergency Stop Button

• The emergency stop button is used to stop the machine in case of an emergency. Turn the button in a clockwise direction to pop out and return the machine to normal.

Conveyor Power Supply

• The power supply of the conveyor should be set to 30-40.

Product Sensor

• The product sensor detects the position of the product and adjusts the labeling position accordingly.
• If the product is not high, it can be installed horizontally. If the product is very high, it needs to be installed vertically.

Label Sensor

• The label sensor detects the label passing through it.

Touch Screen

The touch screen has three modes: manual, auto, and parameter. The user can make machine settings in manual mode, run the machine in auto mode, and make machine settings through changing parameter in parameter mode. The password to log in the parameter page is 1234.

Auto Bag/Card Feeder

The auto bag/card feeder comes with a material baffle to fix bag/card, a green briquette to separate bag/card, a pressure roller at the top of the pressure block to adjust the separation interval, a pressing wheel at the tail of pressing block to adjust the separation interval, a product roller to make the product go straight after being separated, a separation switch to control the separator switch, and a speed governor to adjust the separate speed.

Product Usage Instructions

1. In case of an emergency, press the emergency stop button. Turn the button in a clockwise direction to pop out and return the machine to normal.
2. Set the conveyor power supply to 30-40.
3. Adjust the product sensor according to the principle of labeling immediately when the fiber sensor detects the product.
4. Install the label sensor to detect labels and ensure that the label passes through the label sensor.
5. Use the touch screen to make machine settings in manual mode, run the machine in auto mode, and make machine settings through changing parameter in parameter mode. The password to log in the parameter page is 1234.
6. Use the auto bag/card feeder by adjusting the material baffle to fix bag/card, green briquette to separate bag/card, pressure roller at the top of the pressure block to adjust the separation interval, pressing wheel at the tail of pressing block to adjust the separation interval, product roller to make the product go straight after being separated, separation switch to control the separator switch, and speed governor to adjust the separate speed.
7. Adjust the labeling head position left and right according to the labeling position by shaking this hand wheel.

Machine control instructions

1. Emergency stop: Press it in an emergency, the machine will stop running. (Note: The machine can’t work when the emergency stop button is pressed); Emergency stop button recovery: Turn the button in clockwise direction to pop out and the machine returns to normal.
2. The Power supply of conveyor and set up the value to 30-40.
3. Digital display fiber amplifier: The green value is settled manually, the red value is the real-time value detected; the value can be adjusted through the “+””-” button; You can increase the green value appropriately when the real-time value is misread when the product is not detected while the machine is running, (note: may be affected by dust or label reflection)
   • No products, then no light, green number must be larger than red number.
   • When detecting products, light on, red number must be larger than green number.
   • If no product but light is on, it is not normal, then must adjust the number by pressing + or – button to make sure the green number is larger than red number.
4. Product sensor: The detection position can be adjusted appropriately according to the principle of labeling immediately when the fiber sensor detects the product
   • Note: If your product is not high, it can be installed in horizontally(like below),
   • if your product is very high, then it need to be installed vertically like below.
5. Label sensor to detect labels and label must be passing through the label sensor.
   • Label sensor setting: if sensor can’t detect label and here is the re-setting way. hold the “+””-” buttons at the same time for one second then release, the indicator light flashing, and then move the label back and forward several time and then press “-” button, the label sensor re-setting finished.
   • How to make adjustment if label on metal peeling plate too long or too short.
   1. The label is short: adjust the position of the label sensor to back or forward on label after loosening the knob screw on label sensor, meanwhile, go to the touchscreen manual – click the Gap Position to make the label is only higher 1-2mm than metal peeling plate edge, then adjustment is completed.
   2. label is longer: firstly move the label sensor position to the leftmost of one label, then go to touch screen-parameter – 1st label stop delay to change value, and then go back manual to click Gap Position to check how label on metal peeling plate, repeat above step until the label is only higher 1-2mm than metal peeling plate, then an adjustment is completed.
6. Touch screen:
   • Manual: make machine settings well before automatic running
   • Auto: make machine automatic run
   • Parameter: make machine settings through changing parameter
   • Parameter
   • Manual Rewind Speed: it refers to the speed of label peeling during manual operation of the page;
   • Auto Rewind Speed: it refers to the speed of label peeling during automatically running
   • Detector filtration: It means that if there are multiple signals when detecting a product, in order to take only the first signal, the extra signals are filtered out by the method of setting time. Normally, the parameter is set to: 0.3;
   • 1st Label Start Delay: It means to delay the time point of labeling on the principle of peeling off the label when it is detected;
   • 1st label Stop Delay: It means that the label is detected by label sensor and then stops within the specified time.
   • Parameter: 1
   • Password: 38583808 to log int parameter 1
   • 2nd Label Start Delay: It means how long second label apply into product after labels peeling off
   • 2nd Label Stop Delay: It means how long second label stops after labels detected by label sensor.
   • Bottle Grip Delay Start: How long labeling mechanism part to hold product after product detected by product sensor.
   • Bottle Grip On Time: How long labeling mechanism part to hold product.
   • Separator Start Delay: How long separator start to split product after product detected by product sensor.
   • Separator On Time: How long separator keep split product.
   • Label free time: The preset time for whole labeling process.
   • Parameter 2-password: 38583808 to log int parameter 2
   • Product Sensor Filter: It means that if there are multiple signals when detecting a product, in order to take only the first signal, the extra signals are filtered out by the method of setting time.
   • Label Speed: the initial speed of labeling.
   • Label Time: preset time for whole labeling
   • Empty Time: preset time for machine running without products.
   • Preset Output: the preset number for total labeling quantity.
   • Position Alarm: the preset time for make alarm happen when position sensor can’t detect product.
7. Auto bag/card feeder.

Mechanical adjustment part

1. Adjust the labeling head position left and right according to the labeling position by shaking this hand wheel
2. Adjust the labeling head up and down according to different product heights.

Machine Operation

1. After connect machine with local power supply and power on machine as below.
2. Power on the conveyor power and make the light as below. The number set to 30-40
3. Install the label roll as below
   • Note: please lock the black knob(below) after labels installation, you will hear lock sound when it is locked.
4. After label installation, go to touch screen, ”manual ” and then keep pressing”Rewind Motor”3-4 seconds to let some labels peel out smoothly and make surethe labels moving smoothly(the backing paper will not moved), after that, click” Gap Position”to go out 1-2 labels to see the length of label on peeling plate(see below picture), please make sure it is 0-3mm of that space.
5. If it is not 0-3mm, here is the way to adjust that.
6. your label is short(below 130mm):: adjust the position of the label sensor to back or forward on label after loosening the knob screw on label sensor, meanwhile, go to touch screen-manual- click the Gap Position to see the label on metal peeling plateedge, repeat above step until it is 0-3mm, then adjustment is completed.
7. your label is longer(above 150mm): firstly move the label sensor position to the leftmost of one label, then go to touch screen-parameter -1st label Stop Delay to change value, and then go back manual to click Gap position to check how label on metal peeling plate, repeat above step until the label is only higher 1-3mm than metal peeling plate, then adjustment is completed.
8. Adjust the labeling head by shaking the hand wheel up or down so that the metal peeling of plate is much closer to your products but not touch as long as your product passing through.
   • Note: the metal part is more closer to your product, the labeling effect will be better
9. Adjust the labeling head left or right by shaking the hand wheel to make sure the label will be applied on the position of product you want.
10. Go to touch screen to make machine running(turn on all switches)

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How to apply label on more closer to top edge of product?
   • You can move the product sensor position little more to machine conveyor ending and try different product sensor position to get the perfect labeling position you need.
2. The labeling effect is not good.
   • Please lower the labeling head more closer to your product but not touching
   • adjust the label length on peeling off plate to 0, that means the label is exactly on the metal peeling plate
3. how to resolve it when 2 labels peel out one time?
   • It can be resolved by increasing the detector filtration time and adjust it until it is resolved.
