Product Usage Instructions

1. Ensure that the door is installed and assembled correctly, and in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
2. Check that all safety features, including the UL325 approved light curtain and cable tension monitor, are functioning properly before operating the door.
3. If using the optional wireless bottom safety edge, ensure that it is properly installed and functioning before operating the door.
4. When operating the door, ensure that the pusher springs are 7installed if using the standard lift track.
5. Be aware of the maximum width, height, and weight specifications, as well as the upward and downward travel speeds.
6. Choose the appropriate glazing for your needs, such as tempered, insulated tempered, acrylic, or polygal.
7. Choose the appropriate track type for your needs, such as standard lift, high lift, or full vertical.
8. Be aware that the number of cycles can vary depending on door configuration.
9. Be aware of the design pressures (DP) up to 36 PSF depending on door size, configuration, and exposure. Models tested 50% greater than DP.

The Clopay® Extreme SeriesTM High Performance Sectional Door System boasts an average opening speed of 24″ per second, allowing productivity to flourish while also delivering the aesthetic you’re looking for. Tandem nylon rollers improve roller life and reduce running noise for smooth, quiet operation while safety stays top of mind with enhanced features such as 3′ of light curtain protection, a cable management system and standard cable tension monitors.

CLOPAY® EXTREMETM SERIES OPERATOR POWERED BY LIFTMASTER®

The Extreme SeriesTM High Performance Sectional Door System features a LiftMaster® direct drive operator with an opening speed of 24″ per second and up to 600 cycles per day. The display’s easy-to-read user interface provides ease of limit-setting at floor level and can connect to the operator via Wi-Fi to myQ® Facility.
