System States

Armed
When the system is armed, all connected sensors will be active. This state is used when nobody is home. If a sensor is triggered during this state, it will send a wireless signal to the SmartBox which will then set off the alarm.

Home Mode
In Home Mode only specific sensors that you have chosen will be active. You can select which sensors you want to be active in this state under [Settings] – [System Settings] – [Customize Home Arm]. A good use of this state, is to have the contact sensors on your doors and windows active, but not your motion sensors. This will allow you to move around freely in the house, but if a door or window is opened, the alarm will go off.

Disarmed
When the system is disarmed, no sensors will be active. This state is used when you are home and want the system to be inactive.

sos
The system automatically enter this state  if a sensor is triggered while the system is either Armed or in Home Mode or the SOS button in the app is tapped. When the system enters the SOS state, users will immediately be notified about the incident, including information on what sensor set the alarm off. Both SmartBox’s build-in siren, as well as any other connected sirens will start to sound as well.

User Authorities

You can set different authotity levels for each user of the system. We highly recommend you to only have one Administator, as this authority level gives unristricted acces to your alarm system.
SMS contacts have no system authority and will only be notified during alarm
