ORORO B0920 Heated Scarf
Product Information
The Heated Scarf is a wearable accessory that provides warmth through its heating element. It features a battery pocket, a power button, and a heating element. The scarf has three heat settings and can be adjusted with the power button. It is designed to be washed and cared for properly to maintain its effectiveness and safety.
Product Usage Instructions
- Locate the battery zipper pocket and the power cable inside the battery pocket.
- Insert the power cable into the designated port on the battery.
- To power on, press and hold the power button for three seconds, and the scarf begins to preheat for five minutes (the power button/logo illuminates and flashes red). When fully preheated, the scarf will automatically adjust to medium heat (the power button/logo illuminates solid white).
- The heating level can be adjusted by a short press of the power button. To indicate the setting has changed, the logo/power button will cycle through solid red, white, and blue illumination with each press.
- PRE-HEAT: Blinking red
- HIGH: Solid red
- MEDIUM: Solid white
- LOW: Solid blue
- To turn off, press and hold the power button for three seconds until the power button turns off.
- For cleaning instructions, disconnect and remove the battery from the zipper pocket, put the connector back, and zip up before washing the scarf. Place the scarf inside of a mesh laundry bag before putting it in the washing machine. Follow the CareInstructions on the washing labels. Machine wash, gentle cycle, or hand wash with cold water. DO NOT iron. DO NOT use bleach or any other harsh cleaning agents. DO NOT wring or twist the scarf. DO NOT dry clean. DO NOT machine dry. Line dry, hang dry or lay flat to dry only.

- This product is NOT intended for: An infant or young child. An incapacitated or immobile person. A person with diabetes. A person who is paralyzed or has skin that is sensitive to temperature changes. Anyone with heat-sensitivity medical issues (e.g. poor blood circulation). Anyone who cannot clearly comprehend the instruction manual and/or operate controls.
- DO NOT allow the cord to become tangled, pinched, kinked, or damaged inside the battery pocket. Fire could result.
- DO NOT attach pins or any other object(s) to the product. Electrical wiring damage could result.
- DO NOT use bleach when hand-washing. Harsh cleaning solvents may damage, or lessen the effectiveness of, the insulated heating elements.
- Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are potentially hazardous and can present a serious fire hazard if damaged, defective, or used improperly. Before using the battery and charger, read all of the safety instructions provided.

SAFE PRACTICES
- DO NOT use when wet. This includes excessive sweat. If the inner lining becomes wet, allow the product to dry completely before using. A wet, heated scarf increases the risk of electric shock.
- Check connection cable and connectors regularly for signs of fatigue.
- To reduce the risk of the product powering on unintentionally, disconnect the battery from the power cable, and remove the battery pack from the scarf before storing or washing.
- Use the product only as stated in this manual, taking into account the environment in which the product will be worn. Use of the product for operations other than specified herein may result in injury to the user or product damage. That use may also void the warranty for the product.
- If you have a medical condition, device, or take medication that may affect your sensitivity to heat, consult your physician before using.
- DISCONTINUE USING IMMEDIATELY at any sense of discomfort. Power off the product immediately if any discomfort occurs while using.
- Temperatures high enough to cause burns could occur regardless of the heat setting.
- If the product malfunctions or does not operate properly, stop using it immediately.
- Clean this product only in accordance with the instructions specified on the product’s washing label, and in the Cleaning Instructions section of this manual.
- Make sure the inner pocket containing the battery is completely zippered closed at all times.

BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are potentially hazardous and can present a serious fire hazard if damaged, defective, or used improperly. Before using the battery and charger, read all of the safety instructions below.
SAFE PRACTICES
- Use only the original ORORO battery, charger, and charging cord that came with your heated scarf.
- Fully charge the battery before first use. Four light-emitting diodes (LEDs) will be illuminated solid orange when fully charged. If any of the LEDs is flashing orange, the battery is still charging. When the battery is disconnected from a power source, check the charge level by pressing the battery-status indicator button.
- When the product is being stored, fully charge the battery at least once every six months.
- Charge the battery in an environment that falls within the recommended temperature range of 32 to 104 °F (0 to 40 °C).
- Use the battery only in a climate that falls within the recommended temperature range of 14 to 86 °F (−10 to 30 °C).
- Keep the battery away from moisture. Store the battery pack in an environment where the relative humidity is 60±15 percent.
THINGS TO AVOID
- DO NOT use generic or incompatible battery chargers. Otherwise, it may cause the battery to malfunction, shorten the lifespan of the battery, or cause a fire. ORORO is not responsible for personal safety or product damage when chargers, or other accessories, that were not issued with your product purchase are used.
- DO NOT charge or use the battery in explosive atmospheres (e.g. in the presence of flammable liquids, gasses, or dust). Inserting or removing the battery from the charger may ignite the dust or fumes.
- DO NOT force the charger into the battery pack.
- DO NOT disassemble, drop or break open the battery pack or charger.
- DO NOT modify the battery pack in any way to fit into a non-compatible charger. This could cause the battery pack to rupture and may result in serious personal injury.
- DO NOT splash or immerse the battery in water or other liquids.
- DO NOT expose the battery to excessive heat or cold, can damage the battery, reduce charging capacity, and shorten lifespan. Charging the battery at a below freezing temperature risks an explosion and may cause serious injury.
- DO NOT store or use the battery pack in locations where the temperature may reach, or exceed 104 °F (40 °C). DO NOT store or leave the product unattended with a battery connected.
- DO NOT store the battery pack along with any other metal objects.
- DO NOT dispose of used batteries in household trash or by burning.
- DO NOT incinerate the battery pack, even if it is severely damaged or completely worn out. Lithium-ion battery packs can explode in a fire and emit toxic fumes when burned.
FIRE HAZARDS
- When transporting individual battery packs, make sure that the battery ports are protected and well insulated from materials that could come into contact with them and cause a short circuit.
- DO NOT attempt to open the battery pack for any reason.
- DO NOT insert it into the charger, if the battery pack case is cracked or damaged.
- DO NOT crush, drop, or damage the battery pack.
- DO NOT use a battery pack or charger that has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, run over,or damaged in any way (e.g. pierced with a nail, hit with a hammer, stepped on, run over by a vehicle tire, etc.).
- DO NOT store or carry the battery pack so that metal objects can contact exposed battery terminals (e.g. in aprons, pockets, tool boxes, product kit boxes, drawers, along with loose nails, screws, keys, etc.).
- DO NOT place the battery pack in or on heating devices (e.g. microwave ovens, stoves, or radiators). The battery pack may explode if overheated.
BURN HAZARDS
- If battery acid contacts bare skin, wash it off immediately with soap and water.
- If battery acid gets into the eyes, splash eyes thoroughly with water for at least 10 minutes. Immediately seek medical attention or call your local poison control center.
- DO NOT contact any battery acid if leaking from a damaged battery pack.
- DO NOT expose the battery to a spark or flame; liquid may be flammable.
WARRANTY
IMPORTANT: PLEASE RETAIN PROOF OF PURCHASE
- ORORO’s limited warranty applies to all BRAND NEW items sold by ororowear.com and other authorized distributors.
- ONE (1) YEAR limited warranty covers any defects and malfunctions of this product from the date of purchase.
- This warranty is non-transferable and proof of original purchase from us or authorized distributors is required for warranty service.
- Damage to the parts resulting from accidental fire, flood, misuse, unauthorized service, or negligence as outlined herein will void the warranty. Warranty does not cover commercial use.
- The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product at the manufacturer’s sole discretion. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, whether direct or indirect.
- If warranty service should be necessary, please contact our customer service for instructions. Once a warranty claim is filed and approved, you may then return the product with proper packaging and paid postage along with the proof of purchase and warranty claim number issued by us.
- Any product or parts, upon examination, are found to be defective, will be replaced with the same or a similar product during the warranty period.
