GENERAL INFORMATION AND SAFETY
WARNING
Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal or property injury, as well as damage to the product.
Do not attempt to disassemble the Mini DC Control Box. Any attempt to disassemble, make unauthorised repairs or modify the box will void the warranty.
Do not allow metal objects to enter the ports on the Mini DC Control Box.
Do not allow any of the ports to get wet. If one accidentially gets wet, please turn off the main power switch and dry the Mini DC Control Box ASAP.
CAUTION
The Mini DC Control Box should not be used for the prescribed purpose. It should not be used by by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
Please ensure you use appropriate gauge cables, considering the type of battery and accessories being connected to the Mini DC Control box. Selecting the wrong cable gauge could result in harm to the installer or user and/or damage to the Mini DC Control Box or other equipment installed in the system.
The installer is responsible for ensuring that the correct cable sizes are used when installing this Mini DC Control Box. Hardkorr recommends that it be installed by an appropriately qualified professional.

INSTALLATION & USE
INSTALLATION
- Affix the included mounting bracket to the mounting surface using the four included screws or suitable alternative fasteners (e.g. pop rivets).
- Slide the Mini DC Control Box down over the mounting bracket.
- Connect the Mini DC Control Box to your battery. You will need to purchase or construct a cable that has ring terminals at one end (for connection to the positive and negative terminals of the battery) and a 50A Anderson plug at the other. Connect the Anderson plug to one of the sockets on the underside of the Mini DC Control Box (it does not matter which one you plug it into).
- Press the power button on the front of the box to turn it on.
CONNECTING ACCESSORIES
This Mini DC Control box is able to power many different types of 12v accessories. You can also connect a solar panel using the Anderson ports, to charge the battery at the same time as your devices are being powered. Please observe the following precautions and limitations:
If the battery voltage drops below 11.0V on the voltage meter, immediately disconnect all devices and charge the battery.
Ensure you observe the rated output limits of each port, which are:
- Anderson ports: 50A
- Cigarette ports: 10A
- DC ports: 5A
- USB outputs (USB-A and QC USB): 2.4A
- USB outputs (USB-C): 5A
The Anderson plug outputs can be used as either input (charging) or output (discharging) ports.

WARRANTY
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure
and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are
also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be
of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Hardkorr warrants that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for three years, commencing on the date of purchase by the original purchaser. The warranty is not transferable, and you must retain your proof of purchase.
TO BEGIN YOUR WARRANTY CLAIM
If you believe your product is defective, it must be returned to us for inspection by our warranty team.
- You must have a Return Authorization (RA) number. To get your RA number, please complete the form found on the Warranty page our website and wait for the warranty team to contact you.
- Once you have an RA number, you must arrange for the product to be shipped back to us at your expense (keep your receipt). The address for shipment will be provided along with your RA number.
- Please be sure that your RA number is clearly marked on the outside of the package.
Once we receive your returned product, our technicians will inspect it. We will then notify you of the outcome of your claim.
If we accept your warranty claim, we will either repair, replace or refund the goods at our discretion. We will also reimburse you for the shipping costs you incurred in sending the goods back to us. Any products that we choose to replace or refund become the property of Hardkorr.
If we do not accept your claim, we will advise you of the reason and hold your product for collection. You will need to arrange and pay for the product to be shipped back to you. If your product is not collected within 30 days of your warranty claim being finalised, we may destroy it.
Your warranty is void if we (at our sole discretion) determine that one or more of the following has occurred:
- Negligence: Improper installation or use, use that contravenes this instruction manual, etc.
- Abuse: Road hazards, Damage beyond the limits of “normal wear and tear.”
- Unauthorized Repair: Repair service performed by an unauthorised service centre.
- Disassembly: Any attempt to open, tamper with or otherwise compromise the integrity of the product.
- Consequential damage: damage to this product caused by the failure of another component of the vehicle or device in which this product is installed.
Exterior Finish: Hardkorr uses the highest quality materials available, but depending on location, environment and exposure, the colour of exterior surfaces can fade. We will not approve any warranty claims that relate to fade.
Discontinued items that are still under warranty will be reviewed by Hardkorr. If a discontinued item is covered under warranty it may be replaced by an equivalent or superior item. If an equivalent item is not available Hardkorr will determine terms of resolution on a case-by-case basis.
