Product Information

The Tapo Battery Pack is a rechargeable battery designed to power TP-Link devices. It can be charged with a standard and high-quality DC 5V/1.5A battery charger or Tapo solar panel. The battery pack has a charging indicator that shows solid orange when charging and solid green when fully charged. The working temperature range for the battery pack is 0~45°C.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Charge the battery pack with a standard and high-quality DC 5V/1.5A battery charger or Tapo solar panel.
    • The charging indicator will show solid orange when charging.
    • The charging indicator will show solid green when fully charged.
  2. Only use the Tapo battery pack with TP-Link devices.

  • Charge the rechargeable battery with a standard and high-quality DC 5V/1.5A battery charger or Tapo solar pane.

Safety Information

  • Keep the device away from water, fire, humidity or hot environments.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.
  • Keep batteries out of the reach of children
  • Battery usage by children should be supervised.
  • Do not short-circuit a cell or a battery. Do not store cells or batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
  • Do not remove a cell or battery from its original packaging until required for use.
  • Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shock.
  • In the event of a cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
  • Observe the plus (+) and minus (−) marks on the cell, battery and equipment and ensure correct use.
  • Do not mix cells of different manufacture, capacity, size or type within a device.
  • Do not use a damaged power charger or USB cable to charge this device.
  • Please recycle this device at an appointed disposal location.
  • The devices are not intended for use in locations where the temperature may be less than actual room conditions, such as unheated warehouses or garages.
  • Keep the USB charging port dry, clean and free of any debris.
  • Wipe the cell or battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
  • Do not charge, use or store the battery near any ignition sources, such as fire or heaters.
  • Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
  • After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the cells.
  • Do not use the battery if it gives off an odor, generates heat, becomes discolored or deformed, or appears abnormal in any ways. If the battery is being used or charged, remove the battery from the device or the charger immediately, and stop using it.
  • Retain the original product literature for future reference.
  • Use the cell or battery only in the application for which it was intended.
  • When possible, remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.
  • Always follow the local waste and recycle laws when you get rid of the used battery.
